Westgate Vacation Villas

I made a bad decision by booking this Hotel/Villa, I paid good money for this villa for my family to spend time together and it was horrible. Stay away from this place, as much as possible. The pics of the hotel fooled me, I read the reviews they were ok and I decided to go for it any way and made a mistake. I will never stay at this hotel even if they offer me for stay. I arrived at the hotel reception around 1030 pm and didn't get to counter till 1141 pm. Minimum staff who takes too long for check in process and in the line there were only 5 people only including me. Now I went to my room and it has no Jacuzzi and I certainly booked the room with Jacuzzi and one bedroom villa. I went back to reception since no one wanted to answer the phone at reception area. Spent another 30 mins in line, reached to counter the staff member told me that I didn't book that room I showed her the confirmation and what I've booked. She went to speak to her supervisor, came back and told me that the manager approved the room, (approve for what I paid for it) but I've to transfer you to another side of the building which was at least 10 mins away. I said ok. Reached to that building, looked old, the room had jacuzzi but the sheets had stains the bed wasn't comfy enough, I had to remove the sheets. The pool was too far from the building I had to drive. Plus forget about sleeping in the morning, the maintenance crew start cutting the the bushes and using the leaf blowers around 7 in the morning and the noise will keep u up. I complained about it but no action was taken. I went there for 3 days and that was not fun.

Great stay at Westgate Villas. The only problem we had was when we needed something in the villa it was hard to get through or get a response from the staff. Other then that it was well worth what we paid for the stay!

Hotel was great except for shuttle service. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was free shuttle service to area's theme parks. Bought two day pass to Universal studios. You have to sign up for shuttle service the day before. I went on Monday and wanted to go back on Wednesday. When I went to sign up for Wednesday, shuttle was completely full. I had to pay taxi $80 for round trip to park. This was not an unexpected expense.

Overall this is our second trip to Westgate, and other than the outdated condo, like not updated at all, old kitchen, old bathrooms and fixtures, it was like being back in the 80's. The staff is friendly and it was clean as old can be we had a good time. Oh, by the way the condo is not well insulated so you here everything especially when you are trying to rest.

The hotel resort is great, perfect location and staff was amazing and very helpful. I stayed in the 8th floor suite, had two bedrooms, kitchen, washer and dryer in room. it was great. I had a great time and the rooms have plenty of privacy.

Overall our stay at Westgate Villas was excellent. The room was clean. The area was pretty quiet and there were plenty of things to enjoy at the resort itself. They have planned activities and also have a restaurant, ice cream palor, gym and also have a game room for kids. The location was perfect as well. The stay is only about 15-20 mins away from the parks and only a half our from Orlando International which we found very convenient. I would definitely recommend Westgate Villas as a resting place for anyone's vacation.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. My only problem was upon check in a staff member took me to another counter to schedule me to attend a timeshare presentation. I've attended a timeshare presentation at this resort 2yrs ago and the presentation was extremely long. My children became frustrated because they wanted to go to Universal Studios. Ive explained to the consultant that I've attended a timeshare presentation 2 yrs ago. The consultant was trying to convience me to attend another presentation. I explained to the consultant that I wasn't interested in purchasing timeshare. When I made reservations to stay at this resort I didn't plan on attending another timeshare presentation. I think it's extremely unfair upon check in they are hassling you to attend a timeshare presentation. When I made reservations at this resort my family and I wanted to be close to Disney World. The location was great. However for anyone that plans to stay at this resort be forewarned they are going to hassle you about attending a timeshare presentation.

We stayed here and everything was as expected. Staff was friendly room was clean location to everything is good. Check in is a little lenghty but after that smooth sailing. We are returning in a couple months!

... a little too much for an overnight stay; but would have been FANTASTIC for an extended stay. It was like having my own apartment; kitchen had everything but food in the fridge :) my big let down was that when I reserved this hotel, I was looking for suite-like room with a bedroom that I could close the door to, so we could put the baby in the room at bedtime, shut the door, and enjoy the rest of the night. all was ruined when the crib I requested at reservation was not available; I could have stayed in a much cheaper hotel if I had known this would happen as I had to get creative about where to put my kid :( But if I had brought a playpen, everything would have been top notch.

The hotel was alright, the bell staff was mostly unfriendly, but there were a few very nice ones. Most of the ones I have encountered were unhappy and were rushing me most of the way. The hotel is pretty large so a car is recommended.
