Westgate Town Center

Had access to spring training b-ball. Nice pool. Best breakfast buffet. Got car and room for not much money and us seniors really appreciate that. A little too close to Disney which was great for families, not so much for codgers.

This hotel was AWESOME!!!!! It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have lots of things to do and we will be making a return trip.

My husband and I have been looking forward to this vacation for quite some time. We went to Florida to watch our daughter during her college softball spring training practice. I was somewhat concerned about staying at the Town Center after reading the reviews on various websites but we decided to stay anyway. We were fortunate enough to miss the dreaded one hour check-in that has been written in so many posts. We should have known we were in trouble when we were shuttled to a gentleman who spoke with a very heavy accent and were signed up for a "tour". Being told that the tour would last 90 minutes, my husband I decided to attend as Wednesday was our free day from softball. Fess, our tour guide, was very informative if what I was there to hear was all about his previous customers and the numerous deals he has made in his tenure at Westgate. The tour, which lasted 3 hours, ended with Fess, arguing with my husband I for not purchasing the timeshare immediately. He brought over the "head sales manager" who spoke to us like we were uneducated people buying a used car. After insisting on speaking with the manager in charge of the facility, we were told that this practice is completely acceptable but Fess would be reported to the sales director. My husband and I were very disappointed as to the behavior of most of the people employed at Westgate. It did put a damper on our trip for the day and became a topic of conversation for the rest of the vacation. The accommodations at Westgate were ok. The room had that funny stale hotel smell but other than that it was acceptable. Housekeeping came twice to leave clean towels on the sofa and take the dirty towels from the hooks on the back of the door. We never used the amenities but did see them from the lanai view of the sand volleyball court. If you are planning to vacation at Westgate I greatly recommend that you avoid the "dog and pony" show about the timeshares and stick with coming and going to your destination.

I had read reviews about this hotel and was a bit skeptical. First, the check-in was under 10 minutes and I was not hassled about taking a tour (timeshare) and we were promptly taken to room. The room was very clean and the decor was lovely. The king sized bed was wonderful and the spa tub in the room (right beside the bed) was the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend this for couples and families (they have huge units available for family vacays). There is plenty to do and the location is prime.

A very pleasant surprise!, The surprise is that in my imagination I place in a hotel as such, a building with some services. Actually this hotel is more than a hotel, is a vacation resort. Excellent service from the staff, facilities well maintained and family oriented, rooms with conveniences like having full size refrigerator, not those mini bar refrigerators type common in many hotels. Pools in each building, a cinema in the main building, a very good internet service throughout the resort . My holiday was really very pleasant and the price I paid what I felt very comfortable. The rate does not include right to use the facilities and the hotel will charge them but with a convenience store, buffet all day, putting green at the edge of a lake, golf carts for transportation internally, daily activities to entertain the family, rooms very comfortable I felt it more than reasonable. I plan to use this hotel again in the future or any of the same chain.

The listing for the studio room says 1 king when it was actually only a double. Was quite upset at this and didn't get much sleep in the small bed. Other than that it was a good weekend and nice hotel for not having to pay an arm and a leg to stay close to the parks

Great hotel for the price. Unfortunately, they really push the time shares there.

Great room, everything you need right on premisis, from sports bar and grill for adults and a seperate video game room for kids. Also they have a convenice store and deli on site plus a seperate pizza and calzone resteraunt that delevers to your room. 14 heated pools, tennis courts, mini golf all at the hotel, would defintly stay here again!!
