Westgate Town Center

I have been an owner at this resort for many years,through timeshare,but have not been back for many years.this resort has gone down the tubes.all they are interested in is the timeshare meeting ,and the rest that matters not bothered,the staff dont know the left had from the right.please save you money go somwhere else

Problems since day 1. Reserved my room 2 months before and when I got there they had no rooms available. Five hrs after my arrival I was moved to a close by hotel (that was about 2am). Talked to a few supervisors and they just didn't care. I was there for 7 days and never did I get my room cleaned. Called several times and said they were going to send someone but never did. My wife had to go to tlongmont desk and request new sheets. Personnel is the worse, asked a few people for help with room cleaning, towels, etc etc and everyone seem to tose the ball to another person. Every night I called to front desk to complain about something new. Save your money, it's better to stay in the street.

Our stay was very pleasant. very clean room, great value for money, many activities within the resort if you just like to stay within the resort. The resort is much bigger than what is shown in the photos. The sofa bed wasnt that comforatable. Rest everything was great.

I guess the biggest problem I have with this hotel is no one knew what they were doing or even had available. Phoning customer service ahead of time was an incredible headache as the numbers provided ended up forwarding me to a never ending ringing phone. Their own website says that the unit I booked had a double bed and a queen sleeper sofa, while 2 phone reps concurred with this 3 did not. What I ended up with was a cubby hole of a room with a king bed, no sofa at all and no tub. Which, with a 2 year old made it real interesting during "bath" time. The check in process is absurdly long and they completely over booked the place as I spoke with several other guests who were without a room even though they reserved months before. Their amenities say they're open until 8pm but most were actually closed at 6:30 or not open at all. All in all, this place is horrible. With so many condo/timeshare type places in Kissimmee I would rank this one dead last.

Westgate Towncenter is the main building for a large resort/timeshare property called Westgate Resort. This main building has the property's newest and nicest rooms. Although my reservation said, "Westgate Towncenter"' we actually stayed in a one bedroom suite in another building. It was clean and quaint...nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed-- a small kitchen, a washer/dryer. Since this is a timeshare property there is no daily housekeeping, unless you request it. And if you do, there is a fee. This resort is a good choice for families as there are lots of activities for children.

Don't listen to the few negative reviews about this place. I did and missed out for years on a wonderful vacation spot. i visit Orlando around 4-5 times a year and have never stayed in a better hotel for the money. Of course there are time share reps around. It's Orlando! However, if you didn't sign up for a tour then they won't bother you. Just stay here! You will thanks me after you do.

The listing for the studio room says 1 king when it was actually only a double. Was quite upset at this and didn't get much sleep in the small bed. Other than that it was a good weekend and nice hotel for not having to pay an arm and a leg to stay close to the parks
