Vacation Home Nation

This is not a hotel its a home with a lockbox. If its on the weekend your pretty much on your own. The house that was assigned to us was not a nice clean house. The carpet was all stained the bathroom was all dirty and the sinks would take forever to drain. I rather stay at a hotel next time.

Very cozy, it is convenient for shopping and going to disney theme parks in (around) 10 miles.

We had a group with teenagers, a grandmother, and 3 couples. All of us were very pleased with the experience and would do the stay at the same place if if it cost a little more. The internet was not working when we arrived, but the staff had it reonnected the morning after I contacted them. We recommend the place.

The Villas was clean, located not to far from Disney or other attractions (about 15 mins) although it could be a little remote for some who need to walk to things. There is a grocer, restaurants, and pharmacy in walking distance tho. Although it was a self contained townhome the Regal Palms staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in, dining, and pool time. The restaurant was pretty good and their Thanksgiving spread was on par with anything we would have done at home. All in all a good value, with good location and a great price that beats a normal hotel room. Just wish the shower drain in the Master worked properly and there were at least some wash clothes in the property.

The Villa was clean, spacious and 20 minutes from every where.

After reading previous reviews we decided to bring our own bedding and silverware and towels. It turns out they were unnecessary, there was plenty for everyone. The only problem we had was on the first night there was no hot water, but after calling they sent a plumber there the next morning and it was smooth sailing until we left.

This was the perfect place for a family to be together - grandparents, children and grandchildren. What few details that needed attention were taken care of quickly by the management in a positive fashion. We had been to Orlando four weeks previously, stayed in three different rooms in a motel for the same basic price, and there was no place to get together as a family. This was a great idea!

The Pool House was true to the pictures. It was very spacious and had TVs in each room. We even had a Ping Pong Table which we did not request. This was an added bonus for us since it rain the first two days we were there. We read the reviews prior to our departure so we took those extras that were outline in the reviews like, dish detergent, extra toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent. We always travel with our own toiletries so that wasn't a problem. The house does not offer the samples like at some hotels or resorts but since we read the reviews we were well prepared. We will return!

I had written a novel about our experience at this property but I will keep it short and to the point. Pros: You have your own house, easy in and out, privacy, separate bedrooms, full kitchen, ability to eat in and do laundry. Overally the house was very clean and in good condition. Very responsive management company and good communication once I initiated it. Cons: Booked an "executive pool home"; this was a very basic little house and nothing about it was "executive". Our pool was NOT heated the first 2 days (even though it was requested), lack of basic items such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Very, VERY bare minimum items at the home. They say they want you to take out the trash, but they don't provide trash bags. They say they want you to wash the towels, but they don't provide any laundry soap. They ask you to wash the dishes, but no dish soap is provided, etc. I felt we should have been provided with at least a small amount or trial size of these items (or a vending machine to purchase them), as we had to leave large amounts of things behind since we were only there 6 nights and ended up buying full size stuff at Target as well as paper plates, etc. since there weren't enough dishes to get us through more than a day at a time. None of the basic items a hotel would provide such as shampoo, one small bar of soap, etc. Beds were uncomfortable and cheap, linens were rough and worn. One of our beds apparently had not been changed and had stains and HAIRS in the bed, absolutely disgusting and not acceptable. Left me with the heebie jeebies. Furniture was ripped and torn, hardly any dishes, etc. for a one week stay. So that is the short version. If I had to do it again I don't think I'd rent a house, even though I loved the idea - it was just too basic with too many needed things left out. I'd probably just go to a hotel.

The villa we stayed in had all the amenities of home. It was very clean and well kept. The private pool was great and always available, never crowded. It was about a 1/2 hour drive to get to the disney parks. There were plenty of places to shop for groceries which saved us a lot of money. The management company responded immediately to a concern that was raised. Definately would go back.
