Travelodge Kissimmee Maingate Suites

I been in all areas of Orlando in the past 7 years and this is one of the best experiences,clean room,friendly staff,highly recommended

Hotel room was clean but threadbare. You could see through the towels. Carpets were frayed. Tub was patched. But the room and sheets were clean. New mattresses, but sheets didn't fit with deep pockets. Breakfast was the same every morning and dining room was very, very small for the number of guests. Signs that hotel was being updated, but need to work on that a little faster.

As close to Disney/Universal as you can get for the price. I stayed alone, and felt safe, which was my main concern. The bed was really comfortable. The room had a kind of damp feeling for the last few nights of my stay. The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best.

I chose this hotel for the low cost. When I arrived, I almost expected to find an hourly rate posted at the desk, the place looks seedy. The sheets were clean, the bed was decent. the shower was moldy in my room but other than that it seemed clean enough. the front door did not seal, had a gap along the bottom and being a motel the door opens to the outdoors. The room was very large and had a sofa, but it was stained and not inviting. TV was old fashioned 27" tube. A place to crash cheap in a fairly quiet area, but I will look elsewhere if I pass this way again.

Horrible experience. Dirty, filthy, nasty, smelly, etc. Do not recommend this place. The bathtub drain was clogged and flooded the first 2 days. Microwave smelled and broke the first time we used. Capet looked like it had never been vacuumed. Same pile of garbage was left next our room during the days we stayed there. Construction renovation is in progress. Anyway I picked this place because it seemed to be cheap and there were some good reviews. Maybe I was the unlucky one or those reviews were written by the owner or his/her relatives.

It was as expected for the price. One thing, though is that my hubcaps of rental care were missing after staying there for a day. I guess it wasn't a great neighborhood.

I know we were only in town for a couple of days after a cruise the we went on, so we rented a car and drove to Kissimmee, well I wanted to just leave this hotel and find a new one.On the sign it said CLEAN ROOMS. There were dirty forks on the floor, the bathtub was broken and repaired by a blind man and it was dirty, the door knob was falling off, the towels were worn thur. Very disappointing to say the least.The microwave must have broke so instead of replacing it they just brought in an olded dirtier one and put it on top of the broken one. the air conditioner cover was shifted over about 5 inches and you could see straight to the outside in some places. There is a sign on the wall that the room is kept to thier standard, and any linens missing would be charged to your room. I would not even put the towels against my body and went and bought two so my wife and I could shower.

1st off there was mold in the room with a bad smell. The nobs on the shower felt as if they were going to fall off and water leaking everywhere. The towels werent that clean and dust was everywhere. There was no coffee maker in the room like there were suppose to be and the fridge was unplugged. I was sick for the 3 nights I was there. I had no choice but to stay because of my job.

Nice looking room, but need lots of TLC. If you want wireless internet, this place is not for you. It keeps going back to the password page and makes you re-enter the user name and password time and time again. There also is nothing about an extra hotel charge, it is only $2.00 but is not included in the web page or confirmation,

Everything was just great. I expected a lot less for the bargain price that I received. The work out center was good, the room was clean and spacious. It was quiet, even though close to everything. If I had to sum up the entire experience in two words it would be"fantastic convenience". The money I saved being so centralized and inexpensive, afforded me more to spend on my vacation fun. Is it the Grand Floridian, no, but I bet you'll sleep better knowing your bank account is still intact .
