Very Nice Larger Room

We were well pleased with the value for the money. The staff was outstanding! It was clean and very well kept up. We will stay there again. It was more like a 3 star than a 2 star hotel.

Not exactly as described

When we asked if there was an ice machine, we were told it was down the road and around the corner in the guest laundry for the resort. It turned out to be about 1/8 mile and there was no ice to be found. NO ICE for a huge resort. Although I opted for no housekeeping, I was told I could exchange dirty towels and washcloths for clean ones. Not to happen. I did get 2 more towels , but never received another washcloth throughout bour 3 day stay. 2 washcloths for 3 days for 2 people do not make it. All in all, I was disappoiunted. I expected more from the pictures and the description. We were told we could use the resorts ammenities, but were so disappointed that we did not even want to.

Please Inspect Closely

We arrived and were greeted by a very nice gentleman. He escorted us to the room as the keys had to come from the main property (Oak Plantation Resort). We inspected the room and were fine; however, later that evening when we were getting in the bed, we found bed bugs. We immediately packed our stuff and went to the front desk where a lady offered to move us to another room. We inspected that room very well, removing the matress off the box springs, removing the sheets of the bed and looked between each cover and found nothing. We stayed for the rest of the trip. I spoke to the main manager from the property and she was very apologetic and compensated us for our issue; however, I felt disgusted all weekend. The property did start to dismantle the room while we were there and we were told that everything in that room would be thrown away. Just be on the lookout where ever you stay. The second room seemed okay.

Very Bad front desk service

Very Bad front desk service~ asked for king bed sheets and pillow cases 3 times over the span of 6 hours..4pm to 10p (each time we were told they were on their way) finally went down to get them and they had none clean, gentlemen took sheet out of dryer and handed the crumpled mess to us. He had no idea what size sheet it was, nor had top sheet available or pillow cases. Also, they had no towels clean no clean bed blanket available. Also coffee pot in room but no cups any where, went to get some from maid, she couldn't speak english, asked front desk but no room cups were available. No spoons available etc in morning for Continental breakfast, which was only juice and bagel.

Extremely disgusting!!!'

Room was ok. Bathroom had mold in the tub. Then when my boyfriend tried to use the microwave roaches came out of it. Mini fridge had a horrible odor. Hotel is not in a good neighborhood I'm pretty sure there was a lot of drug activity also there were police around every night. Oh and did I forget to mention that the " resort" was around the corner and down the street from the inn. Which is a waste of time. Do not go there with your family. Spend the extra cash on a well known hotel.

Terrible Experience

When we arrived we found the inn to be nothing like the pictures we had seen online. I was absolutely disgusted. It looked like it hadn't been cared for in years. We were pleased to be notified that we had been upgraded to the resort, which then caused us to wait even longer to check in. The resort was cleaner, but we were still unhappy. The pool was extremely warm, and was gross to swim in. It was not refreshing at all. The bathroom at the resort had bugs coming out of the wall, and we had a roach on the ceiling. Not to mention we had asked for more pillows and was told about an hour. After waiting for over an hour for the pillow we called again We were told they were on their way. After another hour we still never received pillows, so we called again. By the next day we still had never received the pillows and slept horribly due to the terrible comfort of the pillows given. I was overall disgusted, upset, and angry and this entire experience. I would never stay at the inn or the resort ever again.

We went to the Ripley Believe it or not museum and it was so fun. The things they have in the museum are so interesting. It is really worth it.

The price was the most afortable for the amenities included of any of the hotes available. The hotel is still only a 2 - 2.5 star The service was good For a last minute deal, I got my monies worth.

No internet, Rugs and Carpet dirty

No internet and rugs and carpet were dirty. Had very minimal breakfast (bagel) and it was frozen. The receptionist did not even bother to get us new bagel when we asked for it.
