quiet
The swimming pool was great. The carpet in our room was very soiled. The unit had plenty of cooling utinsils, but short on dishes. The office did not open until 8:00. am which I think was late for a resort hotel.

Guests
We found the resort very quiet, and out of the loop. There was no social time either at the pool or any where on the resort with other guests. Due to the fact of the gated area, there is only one exit, which was at the opposite end of where we were staying made it difficult for us to even go on a walking tour of the area. We just loved our room, but was just too quiet of a spot. Probably would stay at a hotel another time.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
All kinds of resturants within driving distance. Old Towne acroos the street was very loud, specially when the parade was on Saturday night, and the traffice was very busy, with people coming to watch the parade.

Wonderful for us...
My family's stay at Barefoot'n in the Keys was great. Honestly, I don't think it gets much better than this for this price point. We stayed 5 nights and our "apartment" (because it really is like an apartment) was wonderful. It was clean, it had a wonderful view of the pool and playground area, and it was in the perfect location for us to hit the Disney parks daily. My only complaints are this: 1. The water is awful with Sulfur in it. This is not the property's fault, as ALL of the water in this area has it (Disney, restaurants, other hotels, etc). I recommend bringing your own drinking/cooking water and/or a Brita-type filtered pitcher. I must note that my husband insists the smell was NOT that bad, and I'm overly sensitive due to pregnancy. 2. The noise. The property is located practically across the street from Old Town, a carnival-type, small amusement park. My husband and I heard faint screams of laughter and roller coasters until they closed or we fell asleep. A simple white noise machine would have fixed that issue. On our last night someone checked into the room above us. Every time their toilet flushed, it sounded like ours was flushing. And, they decided at 5:30 AM to get up, run around the rooms, and open/close the doors going out on the screened-in balcony. It woke me up, and my 18 month old, but my husband slept right through it. This is typical "apartment noise." 3. Although the property is gated, it doesn't take much to overcome that level of security, especially on foot. Now, the good stuff: We had a 1 bedroom "luxury" unit in the "high rise" (ie, new building). 1. It was HUGE! Seriously, it was more like an apartment or condo than hotel room. We set up our Pack N Play in the living room for our 18 month old to sleep and we were able to leave it set up during the day and have plenty of space to move around (and have a couple of guests over). 2. The plasma flat screen TVs in the LR and BR were beautiful to watch-and included in the unit are CD & DVD players in the LR. 3. The kitchen is fully furnished, with the exception of a pizza pan. We found out after we bought a pizza to cook. We managed fine, though! 4. There is a washer and dryer IN the unit-It was so nice to come home without practically any dirty clothes! And, no, the clean clothes do not smell like sulfur! 5. The bathroom is huge, with a jetted tub (with room for only 1 person). Unfortunately, because I am 8 weeks pregnant, and seriously sensitive to smells, I could not get past the sulfur smell of the water to enjoy it. I must note (again) that my husband insists the smell was NOT that bad. 6. The bed was comfortable. My husband and I enjoy opposite types of beds, and neither one of us complained about this one! That's saying a lot. 7. We were within 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic and the park) of driving to Disney World. 8. We were very close (walking distance) to restaurants and other entertainment. 9. We bought some groceries and cooked most meals, saving us well over $150 in eating out. I would recommend this property for others. We would stay there again (and probably will when we go back to Disney next year). The things we will do differently next time: I won't be pregnant; we'll bring our white noise machine and a Brita pitcher.

barefoot'n is clutch!
this hotel was no more than 5minutes off the DISNEY WORLD PROPERTY and thats what i was looking for. the hotel was gated, clean, nice, great grounds were kept. and very promising new resort. and the hotel was extremely reasonably priced. with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, jetted bathtub, huge balcony with table and 4 chairs. my only issue was the bed in the master bedroom. we were hoping for a queen at least, possibly a king size bed. it was a full size. but other than that, the place was very very nice. two thumbs UP!

SHORT drive to the disney world property and well priced, VERY nice hotel. you would save so much $$ staying here rather than on-site at WDW.

More then Pleased
We went on a friends recommendation when staying here so were a bit nervous. But after spending a week there we were more then pleased. The place is SUPER clean, the staff are all really friendly. Each day we tried to squeeze in time to relax by pool and it was always quiet and relaxing. Never a problem to get a set of chairs. We were placed on the 6th floor of the apartment building was a suprise as you dont get that apartment building idea in your head on the website. However the suites were really nice, spacious and everything you need. If I were to return I would recommend asking for something on lower floor. The elevator was installed on the wrong side of the building in my mind. You have to walk the whole length of the first floor, go up elevator then walk all the way back the length of the hall. When going back to room to get drinks every hour or so this makes a difference :) . Noise from Old Town is an issue if you sleep in the bedroom facing it, the master bedroom is on the pool facing side and you dont hear a thing. Also its usually only noisy on weekends. I would not hesitate staying here again. All major food establishments are within 5 min drive along with Falcon Fire golf.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Shop the Premium Outlet Mall that is farther North on International. THe one close to Disney is overcrowded due to its location.

Nice
This resort was very nice. It is next to old town which was nice because you could walk over to many things to do. The resort itself would be better if housekeeping cleaned better. The resort is nice and quiet and has a lovely pool. I would def come here again but would hope the cleaning staff would do a better job. I had to clean the place myself to feel comfortable. Front desk was awesome and helpful.
