The Seralago Hotel & Suites Maingate East hotel appeals to families on a budget. we enjoyed our stay
The hotel staff took care of our request, including a room may husband could use his wheel chair. They were all very nice,but Gary who worked evenings at the pool bar went out of his way to be sure we got our food as well as our drinks. I would stay here again because you can not beat the quality for the price.

The food if you really did not wish to go out in the evening is good at the hotel. But I will also say you can find almost anything you want in a mile or less and alot of them deliver

Could have been a lot better!
it was a over all horriable experience it was my daughters and I's last time to spend with my husband before he left for Korea for a year and the hotel room was horriable. cracked and peeling in the tub,dirt in grime in it,rusted fridge,dirty carpet,for a non-smoking room there was ciggerate burns in the blanket but you get what you pay for... that is all I will say because I could go on and on and it's a waste of my time.

Cool Spot
Had a great time, staff was awesome, except for the fact that the a/c did not work very well. It was great. Looking forward to visiting again.

Value for our stay
This hotel was a good value for our family - price was right. Hotel looks a bit dated, but our room was clean and kids enjoyed the pool. We would stay there again if in the area.

Short walk from hotel
With all the available restraunts, kids still veer towards McDonalds. They we across the street from this hotel. Also were open all night and breakfast started at 3am (helpful for our early am flight).

This place has changed for the worst
I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it has been a pleasent experience except for now. Our room upon checking in we were going to lay down in bed and there was a used condom under the sheets. Mind you I was going to lay down with my 3 month old baby. Also there was balls of hair encrusted into the carpet, and dead insects all threwout the room. Once they had a new room ready for us 3 hours later it wasn't the correct type of room we needed a room with the merphy bed it only had a sofa bed. There were no bed sheets undernieth the comforter or towels in the new room. So again we had to wait 2 hours to get that. My wife was bit by fleas in the room and had an allergic reaction. I will never say here again.

It needs improvement!!!
Hotel is located close to everything. Rooms are clean. however, the cleaning staff forgot to clean our room after the first night. We had to inform the security guard who contacted someone in house keeping. The next day we realized that they did not leave towels in the bathroom. My son had to walk to the housekeeping lady in another room to look for a towel. She had only one towel and we were four people. This is my second time staying at the hotel. However, I will not be returning there anymore.

Getaway for 3 Grandkids
The check in was smooth and the clerk was nice and friendly. The people who cleaned was not as they was next door to my room and I asked my 17 year old daughter to ask for clean towels and I'm listening to the man saying no, your mom or dad has to get them. My husband open the door and then the man wanted to smile and pass him towels. Whats the difference if we needed clean towels. The kids suite with 1 bulk and 1 twin was nice with a tv in the section of the room that they were in. I was disappointed as I thought it was a separate closed door 2 bedroom suite and it wasn't. For a short stay, it was okay. My grandkids and daughter loved the gameroom and the breakfast was pretty good.
