there was no microwave in the room that advertised one-mold and cock roach drippings on the bathroom walls and ceiling-had one towel and no garbage can upon arrival

You get what you pay for. . .not much

The staff was very friendly and the location fit what we were looking for. However, the room was not very clean. Both the sink and toilet were stopped up. We actually had to request a plunger just to make the toilet flush. We almost had to change our room. I won't be staying there again.

I had to change rooms!

In my first room, the TV had reception SO bad it was unwatchable. The toilet handle stuck and the water ran unless you fiddled with it. The light over the sink did not work at first, but after 10 minutes it came on and then worked ok. The AC/Heat did not seem to respond to temperature settings. I asked for a new room after the first night. The second room was ok, but the door was previously damaged (burgulary?) and had been crudely repaired with metal patch and key lock. The hotel appears to be under some sort of renovation, but by folks who don't have much in the way of required skills.

One night

I stayed here one night while visiting some friends in st. cloud. The room was clean but when we tried to turn the heat on the smoke alarm went off. it was only a few seconds though. The staff was really cool and nice. They need to keep the stairs and maintenance areas free of debris and this place would be a great little bargain.

OK for the price

Although older hotel ..i found it to be clean and secure, close to attractions and turnpike, staff was nice and helpfull

Horrible service!

The service was horrible. First I called the hotel for directions and they put me on hold for 20 minutes, I kept calling they were always putting on hold. My room was never cleaned during my stay, I had to call the front desk to request the service everyday. The control remote for the TV didn't work and they only had 13 channels, that's it. Don't stay there, The people there don't know what Customer Service is!!

Just OK

Good price, staff was friendly. Had 15 rooms for Cheerleading competition, location ideal. Rooms - not so nice. But ok for what we needed. Would probably look elsewhere if future competitions at Silver Spurs Arena.
