Oak Plantation Villas Resort

I want to go back again! It was in a good location. We liked that it was not very far from Sea World. There were a lot of different restaurants down the street to choose from. I also liked that it had a kitchen so we could save a little money by fixing something to eat. We also loved the pool area.

Place was not well kept. Dirty carpet, really old run down furniture, not very clean. The closet and bathroom had spider webs all over. Outside halls was really dirty full of dead bugs and spider webs all over the place. Light outside in the hallway was out, couldn't not see keyhole to open door. Try calling the front desk to let them know about how dark it was in the hallway and knowone ever answer the phone.

We booked a 3 night stay (April 21-24) and stayed in building #3. We were a bit disppointed with our room. It smelled very musty and the furniture and appliances were outdated. The sofa bed still had dirty sheets on it. We couldn't use the ceiling fan in the bedroom because it made too much noise. We also found ants in the kitchen and bathroom. The room had 2 phones and neither of them worked, when I let the front desk know they didn't seem to care and did not bother to fix or replace them. The online description said that our room would have a washer & dryer. We ended up with a tiny washer/dryer all-in-one that took about 4 hrs to dry 3 t-shirts. I finally gave up and hung them on the back of a chair to dry. Also, every time you touched the door handle it fell off. I was not expecting a 5 star resort but felt the rooms could have been a lot cleaner than what they were. The carpets were so dirty that we had to keep shoes on at all times in the room. After talking with some of the other guests it seems there were some nicer rooms that were a bit cleaner and more updated with full size appliances - guess they got lucky. The game room on the grounds did not have A/C and most all the games did not work - just took your money. On the brighter side, the pool area was great. They had activities for the kids, big hot tub and a nice tiki bar. The pond was beautiful with ducks and peacocks roaming around. This resort is in a quiet area but very close to many restaurants, shopping and area attractions which was nice. We were about 10 minutes from Disney. I would not say that this place was horrible for the price, but I think for our next visit to Kissimmee we will pay a little more and get a cleaner/nicer place than this.

For the price it wasn't bad I guess. The pool was beautiful! Ants everywhere...they were coming out of phone and the air conditioning control panel also on the wall. Cockroach in the bathroom! Clogged toilet took almost 2 hours to get a response! Place is run down...it's a time share condo/rental. Cheap place to stay if you don't mind bugs! Sleaper sofa mattress was garbage!

Overall, this hotel provides great value for the money. For $67 to get two beds, a kitchen and a clean room, count me in.

Swimming and day trip to disney

Hotel (condos) are nice and large nice location and the compond was well cared for, have the breakfast there was a big +, and haveing seperate rooms and a kicten, only thing unit could use a lilltls TLC but was not that bad, great value for the price is lot cheaper with rental car taxis are $$$

Mostly everything was very good with the resort, except for the first room we were given it was very dirty. But after make an issue of it they quickly provided us with a cleaner room.

Villas were on the old side.. Clean and kept well . The resort needed a little maintenance but in good shape. The pool was excellent as well as the staff. If you go ask for a 2nd floor. The floor are thin and you can hear everything from the upstairs especially if they have children. The have a lot of resort activities and treats which are great. All in all not a decent place to stay

They have good customer service and the room was decent. The only thing I didn't like about the room was when you first walked in...it smells a little but you'll get over it the next day. We have a one bedroom with bathroom, Kitchen, Living room, and Dining room for a really great price. I think it's pretty awesome to see peacocks around never seen that before. They have a shuttle that takes you to the theme park but it doesn't allow you to stay later to see the fireworks at Disney. The free shuttles hours are 8:35am or 10:45am and it picks you up from the theme park at 7:45pm or 8:45pm. Other than that we got what we paid for. it's a great place if you want to save money and at the same time stayed at a place with kitchen that allows you to cook and save more money on food.
