Hotel staff not quick to respond
We rented 2 condos, one on top of the other. The top one leaked from the tub into the bottom and it took more than 12 hours to move us into a room that was water proof. Once we were in the new room the stay was nice. There is not much to do on the grounds so plan on going out someplace for fun. The movie night was OK, but the game room and internet cafe are lowsey and over priced. The grounds could be pretty but the staff doesn't clean up leaves, trash, or debris so it looks a little trashy. The staff tries to get you to go through a 90 minute seminar on buying a timeshare, it's not worth the time or the money needed to purchase a flimsy built condo. One very bad thing is, if your a lite sleeper, don't stay here because the planes are landing within 1 mile and the noise is very jetty all evening and night long.

Comfort
Rooms were a good size, bathrooms were clean. Lots of storage. Decent sized kitchen. Not too many utensils, but fine for us since we only intended to eat breakfast there. Overall, a good place for a family to stay. Very nice pool area.

Great place to stay
The Oak Plantation Villas was a nice place, our room was clean and very comfortable. It was decorated so bright and cheery. The pool area was attractive and the gounds were clean. We enjoyed the pretty peacocks that were out every morning! The location was great, plenty of restaurants close by. Disney World was easy to get to, as well as the airport. We completely enjoyed our stay at the Oak Plantation and will send our friends and family there. We did not have children with us, but noticed many families with young children and there is a very nice pool for the kids and lots of activities. We will be back.

Very comfortable. Excellent services
Great accommodation with king bed, separate living room and fully equipped kitchen. Excellent housekeeping services. Very relaxing pool area with bar and snack bar. Excellent location with lots of restaurants nearby and free transportation to entertainment sites. Extremely well-maintained property and friendly efficient staff. Only limitation was lack of full-service restaurant on site. This was not a problem for our party, but might be for some.

Be Assertive
The Oak Plantation condos are located in an extremely convenient location. As far as the ground and pool, really nice. The rooms? I believe it depends on where they assign you. If you're a time share owner, you'll probably be put in the fresh, remodeled, updated, clean condos. If you go as a renter...beware! Our condo was moldy, smelly, old. The upholstery on the couch torn, the tv fuzzy, the bed sheets nasty, and the in room washer/dryer a complete waste. Luckily we spent very little time in our room, so we stuck it out, but I would never rent there again. We were located at the back of the complex, next door to the maintenance apartment. If was un-nerving to see the workers stare at my 19 year old daugher inappropriately when she walked to the pool. The price is really great, but honestly, I'd rather pay a bit more for a updated, clean place. If you've already booked, don't panic. Just get assertive and demand a nice condo by the pool and you'll be raving about how wonderful this place is :)

Good value
This was our first visit to Oak Plantation. We stayed there while visiting the Orlando theme parks. In the past we have stayed at Disney resorts, motels and another suite property. This property presented a very good value for two separate sleeping areas (King bed and queen sleeper sofa). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The unit we were in was reasonably well maintained, and though small, had a good layout. It had a small kitchen and washer dryer, one bath accessible from both rooms. The property had nice pools which we did not use due to cool weather, and offered a good all-you-can eat breakfast for $5.95. There was also a convenience store on site with Starbucks coffee and a few necessities. Although we used this as a base for our themepark trips (about 15 minutes easy drive to Disney/ Universal), I could easlily see it as a place for a family with younger kids to stay with enough to do on-site to keep them amused.

Great Resort for relaxing...felt like home
Oaks Plantation is super family friendly. Their staff are always willing to help and serve. The settings around the area makes me feel like home. Room was clean and beds were nice and comfortable. I am very satisfied with this resort, with all the service and hospitality they provided. I found only one thing disappointing for my entire stay there-the shuttle. I do not think it is the resort's problem but rather the shuttle bus company. They were not quite on time and provided only limited times for shuttles. The attitude of the driver was terrifying. Despite the unpleasantness of the shuttle experience, I will still return to this resort on my next visit to Florida.

clean, and very confortable.
We spent all the time in the parks, but when we arrived to the hotel always was clean. The room is big, and you can find a lot of stores close to the hotel. There are also restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped. Takes approx 15 to 20 mins to go to Disney's parks. Great choice !!
