great value
the oak plantation has a great staff, fantastic pool and jacuzzi area including a nice tiki bar. most days they have activities for kids and they even had kareoke one evening.the accomodations were clean with a small but adequate kitchen area. convenient location, close to everything yet a quiet secluded setting.

Great location
Everything was very close: shopping, Disney, restaurants, etc. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that when you want to save on Disney tickets you have to participate in this time share meeting. This meeting supposed to be an hour and a half, but instead the lady was talking for 2 1/2 hours. Other than that we were very happy with the location and all amenities that this resort is providing. It's very quiet and clean. I would definetelly tell my friends about it and I would stay there again myself.

Good value resort
The resort would have ben wonderful had we not already set our expectations. It was a nice place, especially for the value, but know before you go what room you are actually going to stay in!

The hotel room was very nice except it looked a little worn. There is a internet cafe..no wifi. However overall the room was nice and the grounds were very beautiful.

Casual and Relaxing
Oak Plantation Villas Resort is an accommadating resort for both adults and children. The grounds are well kept and very enjoyable, and the staff are informed and friendly. Free pop and chips in the cafe and free coffee and cookies in the check in building are a welcome bonus .When updating of the rooms is complete, this resort should gain another star in rating. Well used carpets and furnishings are not conducive to a good first impression.

Huge and Clean Older Resort
The room was really big(a large sitting and dining area, kitchen,a washer and dryer, separate bedroom, and huge walk in closet) and really clean - it was old, though. The unit was older, so the furnishings were older, and the blinds were bent - a $15 fix. (no DVD player) The grounds were very nice and the ammenities were very nice, but the surrounding neighborhood was a bit scary. I was not comfortable outside the gates after dark, but inside security was great. Overall, I would return for the money, but I would not recommend it to someone who was looking for luxury.

Lots of space for the money.
The 1 bedroom King suite gave plenty of room. There was a separate kithen and living room area. The rooms are clean, but are dated and showing some aging due to the high volume of guests. You will need a car. The shuttle to Disney left the hotel at 7:30 am and did not pick up until 9 pm. This is too long of a day if you have kids with you.

Great place to relax
My husband and I wanted a quick getaway for two days. This hotel/timeshare was perfect for that. The receptionists were friendly and helpful at check-in. We stayed in an Augusta suite, which are slightly larger than the regular suites. The kitchen was very clean, the living room was quite comfortable and the King-size bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the units are starting to show their age. The washer and dryer were older and made a slight noise when they were used. Also, the bathroom was quite outdated and needed a fresh coat of paint. However, the overall establishment is pretty nice, a great place to relax.

The resort is located off of U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee, which is filled with plenty of shopping areas. Also, it's about a 20-minute drive from International Drive with plenty of shopping stores in between.
