Oak Plantation Villas Resort

The locations was nice, just off the main highway (192) but close enough to get food, etc. The room was damp and clammy. There was mold on the ceilings, roaches in the bathroom, and leaky faucets. I loved that there was a tiki bar onsite, although the bartender smoked his cigs and spent the whole time on his laptop. It wasn't the worst place I've stayed but it wouldn't be the first I'd run back to either.

I went to Kissimee to visit Disney parks. However, I ended enjoying this beautiful village with many ammenities like, great pool, play room, basket court, tennis and more. I rented one bedroom unit, however, I was surprised when I get in, The unit had 1 big bedroom and 1 full bathroom with balcony on the second floor and 1 big living room, dining room full kitchen, laundry room and half bath on the first floor.

The room was great the bar was good the pool was heated and very good the hot tub what can you say it was very good. The one or two drawback was no wifi in rooms which is hard to understand this day and age it wouldnt cost that much to do that. Next thing when I checked in I was directed over to another desk to get my parking permit which at that time I didnt understand that. At that desk I was given my parking permit and than asked if I wanted free breakfast the next day, who wouldnt turn that down and than offered two free Air Boat rides still sound great well they asked for 20.00 deposit and I didnt ask any questions thought it was for the free breakfast and the Air Boat ride, the next day I found out what it was all about they tried to get me to sit thru a Time Share presentation when I told them the day before they never said anything about Time Share the lady at the desk said she was sorry about that and than proceeded to refund my twenty lol but I lost out on the free Air Boat ride. Now I will say the site is great and if they could wire up the various buildings with wifi I would love to go back there.

Good location, good atmosphere, heated pool was great and all in all was a good stay. Downside was a roach we found in the bedroom, 2 stove burners were not working and the washer machine was right next to the stove.

They didn't have my reservation and that caused a big delay. There was a dirty washcoth over the shower rod. There was a "big" bug in the bedroom. The bathroom cabinets were dirty. I wiped them down. Bed was uncomfortable. The carpeting needed to be replaced. Over all the entire place needed to be updated. I would not stay there again!!

We have stayed at The Oak Plantation on 3 occasions, good value, good locations, resort like feel. They are in the process of some much needed renovations. Room was adequate, not a 5 star by any means, problems with the fridge, water pressure in the shower was very poor. No internet in the room. Heated pool was wonderful, oversized hot tub is great on a cool night !

Everything about this place was more than expected When I checked in and asked about Wifi and I was told only at the pool or at the Wifi Cafe. But I needed to have full time availability, and they up graded me to a Villa next to the pool were I got the signal in the unit from the pool Wifi. A+ I would of given 5 star for room comfort but had a problem with the A/C, couldn't get the A/C fixed, but really didn't need it.

The rooms were clean however the bathrooms and toilet had hair. Very poor drainage, water was to my ankle while showering. The towels were worn out. We were in a back unit the light was out noone fix for the time we were there (5 nights)

Other than the young man who checked us out on the moning of 12/30 we seemed to be more of a bother to the front desk staff, which we only had contact with twice, the day we checked in and the evening before we checked out. The girl who checked us in was more intent on telling us it was too early to check in, which we ackowledged when we approached the desk, than greeting us with a smile and a friendly "hello". The girl on duty the evining before we left would not even look up from whatever she was doing to answer my questions, which was clearly annoying her. I may add that there was never any other guest at the desk either time so it wasn't because they were busy. The front desk would do well to take a McDonald's class on customer relations. Thanks to the young man for being polite and courteous when we left. On the positive side, the villa we stayed in was very comfortable and what you would expect for the price.
