Oak Plantation Villas Resort

Visiting all the parks we needed something close to all of the Disney Parks, not too far from lego land and the beach. This was perfect! with a kitchen, washer and dryer we had everything we needed to pack light, save $$$ on dining out prices several days in a row and the pool was fab! I was sceptical after reading some reviews, but I was glad we chose this place and I would do it again!

This place has the appearance of being exceptional for the money, but appearances are deceiving. When I went to use the workout room the treadmill didn't work, so I tried to call the front desk from the phone on the wall. That phone didn't work. I went to get a drink from the fountain and that didn't work. I tried to use the 2 stationary bikes, but they were broken. Two guys came in from the game room, and they said that none of the games worked in that room either. Our unit was large and comfortable, but very cheaply furnished. The grounds are well kept, and my general impression was that their primary effort is to maintain a good appearance. But be prepared to be disappointed.

Close to Orlando attractions and Gatorland. Beautiful pools and tiki bar. Room needs updating, but a great value for the price.

It is good if you are seeking a valuable hotel. The room is not bad and with washing machine and all kitchen utensils. But there is smell in the room and the worst is that there is no house keeping.

good location ,all the restaurant around the resort, u don't need a car because they have a shuttle ,it can take u to disney world and universal studio,quit place ,i am gonna come back again.i recommened to u espically for ur kids its safe.

Location was what we were looking for, away from the crowds. Apartment was basic but comfortable, it would have been much better if the appliances worked. Servicing the rooms was hit and miss, not up to standard. The pool was nice, but I would not call it a lagoon it was,nt that big, the upside was that it was open till late for evening swims. Staff were friendly but didn't seem to get much done, you had to keep on to them for days to get a result. Breakfast was presented well, but could have been a bit more varied it was the same every day. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone, unless the have a much needed makeover and new management. If you are looking for basic and quiet go for it.

We almost purchased a timeshare here about 12 years ago and realized upon this visit that we were glad that we didn't. The exterior of the building that we were in has rotten siding and rotting woodwork around the windows. The column outside by the gameroom was very rotten. The game room smelled musty and moldy and would likely get bad test results if tested. The pond had a lot of dead fish in it and we witnessed two raccoons come out of the woods heading to the pond. One directly behind the playground and the other on the other side of the building. This was in the early evening hours and we still had a child playing on the playground. Also the playground area could have used some sprucing up. The clerks in checkin/out seemed kind of slack...and the late check out costs are unbelievably unreasonable.

Very nice location, clean and feel like you are at home away from home.

We stayed here for 4 nights and couldnt ask for any better for alittle over 50.00 a night. This was a wonderful resort with hot tubs heated pools the kids loved and much more. Will most definatley stay again!!!!
