A taste of Polynesia in Orlando tropical condominium complex
Acres of lush landscaping and a watery wonderland -- the Liki Tiki Lagoon -- equate gold to families in search of sun, surf and theme parks. The popular 220,000-gallon water park is a worthy attraction at the 658-condominium Liki Tiki Village when guests are planning off time from Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Condominiums are available in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, and allow guests to live comfortably thanks to full kitchens, washers and dryers and separate living and dining areas.
Highlights
- Liki Tiki Lagoon, a 1.5-acre water park with slides, erupting volcano, wave pool, spouting tiki heads and a dancing fountain
- Camp for kids
- Picnic area
- Mini-golf and tennis courts
- Shipwreck Sally's Bar and Grill
Rooms
Fully furnished one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums treat guests to residential amenities such as a full kitchen, living and dining area, and washer and dryer at the Liki Tiki Village. Layouts vary and can accommodate four, six and 10 guests respectively. Nature prints, watercolor beach scenes and wicker furniture support the overall tropical theme.
Features
Without a doubt, the Liki Tiki Lagoon is the main draw at the Liki Tiki Village. The feature rivals water parks in the area, with five slides, an erupting volcano, spouting tiki heads, a dancing fountain and toddler area. Straw-covered huts connect -- literally -- via a bridge over water. An oversized squirting octopus livens up the kiddie pool. When it is time for entertainment on dry land, move the whole family to the mini-golf course, tennis courts or game room. Shipwreck Sally's Bar and Grill and a separate picnic area switch up the dining-out routine.

Mom and 3 kid trip!!!
We had the very best time at the Liki Tiki and look forward to coming back again!! I have a 10, 14,&17 year old and felt safe and free to let them enjoy the place together. I was able to relax and enjoy my time with my kids. The one thing that I didn't like was the cell and Internet service was not good in the condo at all I had to go out side to talk, text or access my own personal Internet service so that's something they need to change. I loved that the hotel said what was included and stood behind it!! Thanks for the memories and hope to return next year!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Well, it started from following their directions to the location. Road is impossible to see at night by the street sign. But finally did find it only to be greeted at the front desk with, "you need something?" Wow, nice welcome there!! Then I'm told about all the additional charges like the resort fee, which was ok I knew that. Then i was told after I asked for 4 keys for the family, that a lost key or to reprogram a key is a $10 charge. Now mind you, only 2 of the 4 ever worked but for fear of being out an additional $20 we made do with just 2 keys. Then I was told that there are 6 pool towels in the room and if I lose one it is $10 per towel. A "Resort" without towels at the pool?? Then I asked for a room closer to the lagoon, that was a mistake...only angered the already upset girl at the desk who did not even respond and just said "this is where your room is" while pointing to it on a map. next came the customer services guy to try and sell me park tickets and all that. Then I got to the room after climbing the stairs to the 4th floor because I would have missed the rest of the vacation waiting for the elevator. Room was dirty and unkept and upon calling the desk to move, no one answered. Wife and i went to Wal Mart and bought cleaning stuff to clean things up figuring housekeeping would be in the next day. Wrong...no housekeeping unless you pay $30 or $40 per day!! I asked for additiaonl trash bags and it took 10 hours to get some sent up. This whole place is a joke and they have only about 35 to 50 chairs at the lagoon for over 600 units!! Then the calls everyday to sell you a condo...so annoying!! Don't saty here folks, find somewhere else. Oh and the bugs...yeah it's Florida but really, spiders and gnats all over the counter constantly? It should be removed from even being an option to book!!

Excellent family resort
We had a great time at Liki Tiki. We stayed on the fifth floor of building 900 and stayed during kids spring break. Kids loved it and had so much fun in the pools, playing tennis, playing golf, riding the paddle boats, taking a stroll around the property on the bikes,...and fishing too. Staff was very polite and accomodating. The bathroom was a little outdated but no big deal at least it had good water pressure. The only thing I wished they had was a long-full body mirror. There was only one mirror that was in the bathroom. With regards to cleanliness, we read other reviews saying that they never cleaned the rooms. We stayed here for five days and it's true they don't clean your room but I believe it's their security policy that no one enters the room when the guest is not there. Also, whatever you need they accomodate to. So if you need your room cleaned all you need to do is call them and they arrive promplty. The staff is very helpful and accomodate quickly. After we checked in, we were presented with an offer to attend the so-called 90 minute time-share pitch but we declined and just said we're all set with our activities. And they never pressured us or bothered us again with it. I would definately recommend this hotel and go there again...maybe next time we'll stay near the Oasis pool because the Lagoon filled up quickly and we couldn't get lounge chairs on time so each day we ended up at the Oasis which always hads chairs avialable.

family getaway
Location is perfect, resort itself is okay. Waterslide was closing at 7:30 pm, so we didn't get a chance to go there, because we were coming from parks later. Sleeping sofa was very old, uncomfortable to sleep for more than 1 night, even if you are tired.Wall are very thin and you can hear people from the room next to your and ours were loud. Internet was an issue, guest service wasn't cooperating every time transfering to the wi-fi support and giving us temporary password. But for the money we paid it was good.

fun place for kids
My Granddaughter loved the water park, right size for the younger ones that may not be able to enjoy the bigger water parks. And when you need a break from all the kids and want to sit and watch your kids in the pool, the smaller pool is perfect.

Great place to stay
Everything here was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The one complaint I had was that the amenities (except pools) closed at 6pm so we weren't able to use them if we went to a park for the day. Otherwise a great place. I would recommend bringing kids too.

Great family stay
The hotel had everything we needed, and allowed mom and dad a little privacy to boost! The downside was that the room had an stale odor, but was bearable for the price and all of the ammendities. There is a resort fee of around 7 bucks that i wasn't aware of prior to my stay, tho.
