A taste of Polynesia in Orlando tropical condominium complex

Acres of lush landscaping and a watery wonderland -- the Liki Tiki Lagoon -- equate gold to families in search of sun, surf and theme parks. The popular 220,000-gallon water park is a worthy attraction at the 658-condominium Liki Tiki Village when guests are planning off time from Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Condominiums are available in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, and allow guests to live comfortably thanks to full kitchens, washers and dryers and separate living and dining areas.

Highlights
  • Liki Tiki Lagoon, a 1.5-acre water park with slides, erupting volcano, wave pool, spouting tiki heads and a dancing fountain
  • Camp for kids
  • Picnic area
  • Mini-golf and tennis courts
  • Shipwreck Sally's Bar and Grill
Rooms

Fully furnished one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums treat guests to residential amenities such as a full kitchen, living and dining area, and washer and dryer at the Liki Tiki Village. Layouts vary and can accommodate four, six and 10 guests respectively. Nature prints, watercolor beach scenes and wicker furniture support the overall tropical theme.

Features

Without a doubt, the Liki Tiki Lagoon is the main draw at the Liki Tiki Village. The feature rivals water parks in the area, with five slides, an erupting volcano, spouting tiki heads, a dancing fountain and toddler area. Straw-covered huts connect -- literally -- via a bridge over water. An oversized squirting octopus livens up the kiddie pool. When it is time for entertainment on dry land, move the whole family to the mini-golf course, tennis courts or game room. Shipwreck Sally's Bar and Grill and a separate picnic area switch up the dining-out routine.

AMAZING!!

Very restful, great access to all the attractions, room was decorated wonderfully, we saved a ton of money by cooking meals. Just a fabulous experience we would repeat. It would be even more fun with children to enjoy all the resort activities.

Great Big Family Hideaway

Called the front desk about broken door.Within 1 hr the door was fixed. Called for 2 additional blankets. Because of the bad weather Florida had while we were there, we only were able to give us one. Being from New England we knew what to do.Turn on the heat!!! We also needed a late check out. A little communicating with the manager resulted in a $20.00 discount off the price we were quoted.

"Great fun for family and friends"

The price was awesome, and we were very happy with the accomodations. We spent a couple of days at the resort water park which was a blast and my 2 1/2 year old daughter was in heaven. We spent our other days at Disney World which was only about 6 1/2 miles from the resort. I would recommend this establishment to anyone, especially those with children.

Fun for all at Liki Tiki

We arrived around 8pm and our daughter and her family were joining us about midnight. Once my husband and I looked around we decided to book one more night. Extremely confortable rooms and tons to do! We went to Sea World on Saturday but rushed back to the hotel early so we could play at the water park! Our grandson had a blast and so did we! We also had friends meet us on Saturday night, they said the next time they come to Orlando they will definetly book at Liki Tiki. The best part for me was 2 theme parks, 2 days and a 2yr old had to be the whrilpool tub! The hotel was very clean and so were the grounds, someone was always cleaning up outside! Still a little far away to get a wide variety of resturaunts but that end of 192 is growing

Great Family Spot!

At first, they were going to upgrade my 2-bedroom to a 2-bedroom townhouse which was fantastic; but my 86 year old grandma can't go up and down the stairs. The receptionist fixed this immediately and alocated me to what I expected, a 2-bedroom condo style room with a whirl pool, full kitchen, king bed in the master bedroom, 2- full size beds in the second bedroom, with dinning room and living room with pull out and a washer and dryer in the unit. The hotel was very clean. They provided cleaning agents for the dishes, papertowel, laundry detergent and pool towels. It was truly home away from home. The kids really loved the pool! I have a 2 and a 4 year old. If your kids can't swim, bring them arm floaties so they can go down the slides. There's a nice playground and a couple of hot tubs and 3 pools in total. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only negative thing i can say is that the elevator broke, but they had it fixed within a couple of hours.

2-3 mile down the road is a super-target, publix and there are many restaurants down the road. They do offer a pretty good pool side restraunt, a lil pricey but its full bar and the food is fresh.

Loving Liki Tiki

This was our 1st vacation in a long time, It took a lot of planning and saving. I had read some of the reviews on [...] and was a little worried about noise, cleanliness, and being harrassed about doing a time-share. None of this ended up being a concern, we arrived early and our room was already ready. We were in room 555c, from what I was told this was one of the older buildings but it was wonderful. The clerk who checked us in told me she liked to stay in this building because it is nice and quite. This was true, we never heard any noise and loved that we were on the top floor. After we checked in I was sent over to get a parking pass, this is where they offer you discount tickets if you take the time share tour. I explained we had our tickets and just wanted to get to our room. The clerk gave me my ticket and a welcome pack and told me to have a good time and if we needed anything to just ask. We had a two bedroom which was perfect since it was my husband, and 2 children. The room was spotless, even the fridge had been pulled out and cleaned behind it. We packed everything from laundry detergent, paper towels, dish detergent ect... None of this was necessary as it was included in the unit. We had an absolutely beautiful view and everyone we came in contact with that was employed with Liki Tiki was kind and helpful. The whole family loved the water-park and also enjoyed that we had a quite pool right below us. The other ammenenties were also enjoyable, we took advantage of basketball, putt-putt, and the playground. The location was also wonderful, off the busy main road but with anything we needed within a couple minutes drive. We have already recommended this resort to family and are looking forward to returning next year.

Great vacation for a great price!

Liki Tiki is a wonderful choice for your vacation! The price for starters is wonderful! The location is great! Shopping nearby and parks close by! One of the things that impressed me the most was the lifeguards at the waterpark pool. They were by far the best lifeguards I have ever seen. They just don't sit in a chair, there are at least 3 at any given time constantly walking back and forth along the pool areas monitoring the slides and all activity. My daughter is a teenager but if I had younger children I would have felt completely at ease. The units are very spacious and offer privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of our needs. We had a balcony that was over looking the entire park. Very pretty! Security was wonderful at the entrance and they kept the grounds very nice. The adult pool stayed open to midnight and was great for some night swimming! Any request for needed necessities was immediately granted and all the staff I encountered was extremely nice and helpful! Overall my boyfriend and I had a great stay and my daughter loved it!

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a 7/11 right next to it that has almost anything you could need in a pinch, you could actually walk here if you had to. Also, Wal*mart is not far, which makes it easier for you to buy stuff to utilize your fully equipped kitchen and save money on eating out every night.

"Fun for everyone in the family"

This was an awesome resort that was well equiped for keeping both the adults and the children involved in activities. The water park is staffed with life guards that are always watching the children and there is a poolside bar for the adults to enjoy as they watch their children have fun. Everything that you need for a great vacation is right under this one resort and as long as you stock up the kitchen, you will enjoy the activities that are offered through the resort without the need to leave.

Instead of taking a shuttle or a taxi to and from the airport, I suggest that the best option would be to rent a car at the airport and return the car back to the airprit.

Really surprised

Very large rooms. Went with another mother and her child and we didn't hear them at all in the other room. Surprised by a jacuzzi tub that wasn't advertised. Very close to Disney and a veriety of Dining. Target close by for those forgotten items. Full kitchen with dishes. Washer dryer came in handy as well. Overall a wonderful experience and would stay again!
