Great for a Disney Family Trip w/ kids!
We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday. We went straight from Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving day. They had our room ready early, as requested (it was around 2:30). [...]The staff is awesome- check in is only 30 seconds. The rooms rock! 3 bedrooms (2 masters- 1 average size). Nice flat screens in each bedroom and a larger one in the family room. Tall ceilings, great decor, rich paint colors and architecture. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops. THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL HOTEL! What I mean is they do not have daily maid service- it is more or less like renting a condo. You need to bring garbage bags, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent (there is a washer and dryer in each unit), etc. They will provide clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels upon request. The price for the room definitely makes up for a trip to Publix.

Short drive from hotel
10 minutes to Magic Kingdom- 5 minutes to Animal Kingdom. Publix 5 minutes away. Hoolihans, restaurant across the street, is great!

Great Hotel for the Disneyworld Visitor
This was a great place to stay with kids. We spent a total of 8 days in Orlando and visited Walt Disney World five of those days. We have two children - 8 months and 2 years old and also had their grandparents with us. We stayed in the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom suite and had plenty of space - it was great that everyone had their own room and the common areas - kitchen, dining room, family room and patio were perfect! The pool was perfect for our kids - zero depth entry. We bought an $8 bucket of sand toys at SuperTarget and my daughter played for hours in the pool. It took us about 15 minutes to get to the entrance of each resort. We would arrive when the parks opened, return to the hotel in the afternoon for the kids naps (again great to have separate bedrooms so the adults could still hang out while the kids slept), and then return to the park in the evening. The only real traffic was leaving the parks at night. There are both a SuperTarget and Publix Grocery Store less than one mile from the resort. Plenty of the standard chain restaurants nearby. Check in and out was very easy (I had read on a previous review that this was a problem, but it must have been resolved since then). We will definitely stay there again.

If you are planning on visiting the WDW parks, definitely get the book: The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and get the $8.95 online subscription for their touring plans. We followed the touring plans and except for the Hollywood Studios Park, had almost no waits for all the rides and shows we wanted to see - and this was during the spring break peak.
