Legacy Vacations Resorts - Orlando

Getaway weekend was perfect with the right place to stay ... I think we found our permanent vacation spot!

We spent a week here at legacy. First off the room smelled very musty, so we went to open windows and they were all unable to be opened. Our jacuzzi in the room was not working, however i did get a maintenance guy who just happened to be outside our room, to fix it. This is suppose to be a resort. We were put in a culdesac across from the office. We had to cross a 4 lane highway to get over to the mini golf and other amenities. We did have a pool and a hot tub on our side, however the hot tub did not work all week. We informed them the first day we got there and it still was not fixed when we left. We had no towels in the pool area so we called the front desk waited 10 min. on hold and then they told us to come get some. So we had to drive over to office because i will not walk across a 4 lane highway. We were told this was a renovated room. Maybe it was, but not too well. The closet door for the washer and dryer was falling off the wall because the wall at the bottom had no wood left on it so the bracket had nothing to hold onto. The faucet in the kitchen wasn't working right it took me 10 min. to find the hot water everytime i used it. It was a rotating hot cold handle. and the hot was not where it was suppose to be. The handle on the shower fell of when we opened it. We had two separate doors to get into our villa because they use to be two separate rooms, and you could tell.

The location was great and easy to get around without getting lost and the hotel was very comfortable.

The rooms were very big and the tub was great. This hotel was more of a apartment then hotel. I love the decro and comfort. It was worth every penny.

The picture that shows the hotel is only where you check in. The actual hotel that you get is across the street and is grimy and dirty. They also force you to pay $3.99 for the toiletries the supply per day. These toiletries smell awful and are poor quality. I would rather take that money and buy mine across the street at the drugstore. Don't be fooled by the picture they show you, that is not where you will get to stay!!!

Check in was a breeze and they let us check in two hours early. It was about 20 minutes away from Disney World which was really the only downside. Hotel room was great. Clean, spacious. We were a little nervous after seeing mixed reviews, but we were pleasently surprised! Will definetely stay with them again.

the room was so small you could only get off one side of the bed. The jet tub was old and moldy. The jet heads broken off. The pool was dirty and cloudy with white scale all over the tiles around the edge. Kids in the hot tub at 10pm yelling and playing. Maids where in the room next door banging and talking at 8:00am. with only a bedroom door between us. This was not worth the money!!!

We came in pretty late but were greeted immediately. Room was excellent clean, spacious,and king bed was so comfortable. location is excellent off of 192 next to waffle house, cracker barrel, krispy kreme, chillis, publix, target and walmart no more than amile or so away but you can walk to most places. pool was also clean and open beyond the time for my two teenage boys and a friend no problem they loved it too with no x-box around. since i booked with [...]it was half price an overall excellent event

I stayed at this particular hotel for the first time with my mother, 13 month old daughter and nanny. The hotel is very accomodating and kid friendly. We asked for a bottom room and they made sure that's what we were given. They were fairly quick to help us with any requests we had. We stayed in a 3 bedroom/2 bath and there was plenty of room for all us. They even had a dvd player for my daughter to watch her dvd's. We also made use of the activity center and played ping pong. They had activities scheduled all day everyday. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping and Old Town. There is a Wal-Mart just around the corner literally 2 minutes away. It was a 20 min trip to the Convention Center taking the back roads.

I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend Legacy Vacation Resort to anyone. I will be making that a regular place for my trips to Orlando.
