Legacy Vacation Homes (Disney Area Pool Homes)

Rented a 4-bedroom 2-bath executive pool house and got a 4-bedroom 3 full bathroom pool house with free wifi. They emailed me the directions to the house the day before, we showed up at 4pm, used the code they gave to get into the gated community, then the code they gave to get the key for the house, and other than that never had contact with the staff. House was everything we needed (good size, gated community, towels, plates, utensils, nice pool with good outside furniture). Only complaint was that the beds were not very comfortable and the decorations were outdated (not a big deal at all). We had about a 25 minute drive to disney without traffic but we were located right off a major road with everything we needed around us (publix, cvs, restaurants) so location wasn't bad at all. Overall, for the price we paid, it was more than we expected. Great bargain.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was accessible to all of the main highways, quiet, a nice clean pool area, and was less than a mile away from any amenity we needed for the stay. We loved the home atmosphere with the ability to cook and do laundry when needed. We plan to use Legacy Homes again.

A well sized 4 br 3 bathroom prvt villa with pool. Kids loved the pool and the house had everything we needed except - There was zero basic provisions in the property in terms of : wash up liquid, dishcloth or brush, foil or wrap film, washing detergent. Whilst we dont expect all of these - to have all of these missing (with the exception of one dishwasher tablet) was disappointing. When we left the property we left behind our considerable unused stock (as you cant buy small in USA!) of detergent, dishwash tablets,etc. but wonder if this will be left form the next guests or not! Also we had an issue with two of the blinds pulling away from the wall but these were fixed as soon as we reported them to the agency.

The house was more than we expected. Beautiful, clean, large, great. The only problem came on Sunday. We were scheduled to check out on Monday, but Sunday morning the cleaning crew arrived, told us in no uncertain terms that we had to get out immediately, started remove beding, removed our belongings to the driveway. They put my brother on the phone with a "representative" who was so angry that we thought we were going to be arrested for tresspassing. When I showed the cleaning crew the printout that showed a Monday checkout they left. No apology, did not leave more sheets, just left. Very unprofessional.

Wish it had wi fi and softer beds. Lots of room. needs a paint job and some of the carpet in the main traffic areas were loose.

i had a problem at the beggining because they were supposed to send me the address with the codes, they didnt, i had to call and it took me a long time, the location was really far away from disney, but other than that, it was really nice, excellent home, i really enjoyed, also they should have told me about the pool, i couldnt use it because it was cold, i would like to stay again when i come with all my big family

Some of the furniture could use replacing. The couch is in very bad shape, the carpet could use some stain removal. Outside of a few cosmetic issues the house was very nice. This house has everything we needed and more. Perfect location for what we were down in Florida for. I have used Legacy homes for the last 3 years and will continue to use them.

This home was a perfect stay for me and my family. It was a four bedroom, three baths home very clean and close to Disney. The comfort of the home felt truly as if we were home. At the end after I left the property I received a very disturbing phone call from the cleaning people. They said that from the last time they cleaned someone left a cell phone there. I explained that we did not find it, and then I was given an ultimatum to go back and return the cell phone or they would call the police. I felt very insulted by this and the person would not give me her full name.

Cockroaches in the bathroom, old furniture, squeaky beds, dust everywhere. Yes, there is a pool and if you have no maintenance issues during your stay, it could be an OK value for the money. But god forbid something is not working (the AC/Heating unit broke during our stay) and you have to deal with the management company. The management company (Columbus Realty) is remarkably rude and unhelpful. The manager (Laura McPhillips) is a woman with an attitude who will tell you to pack your things and leave if you don't like it at her property. We tried calling Legacy Vacation Homes, but it's nothing but a sales entity for Columbus. So there is really no one who can help you and no one cares about your stay.
