Legacy Vacation Homes (Disney Area Pool Homes)

it's mandatory to register online with checkin dep. I have done that, but they never send me a confirmation email. Everyday they sent me alert reminding me to do so or else I can never check in, while I have done it 5 times+, calling the hotel doesn't help at all as all they tell you is re do it. they gave me so much stress and wasted so much of my time just because of this simple registration. (at the end realized my registration was all completed, they just chose to harrass you every single day) The location is far (30 mins drive from outlets/theme parks) from everywhere, but since we have a rental car I don't mind it too much. There's a small swimming pool #no hot tub#, but need password to get in, which we were never given. and no matter what time we call the management office, no one answers. so the pool (which is the only amenity) is no use to us. The home is a good size but furnitures are extremely old and dusty, the chairs look like the ones in a haunted house, and all the beds make squeaky noise. I've been to tons of different vacation homes in Orlando, this one is the only one that EVERYTHING is on your own, including your garbage and dishes and check in. they have notes warning you they will charge you if you don't do your dishes on your last day or take all your garbage out. pls note: they charge you $70 resort fee, so I wonder what that was for. If you plan to book with any resorts related to Legacy, you'd better be someone who's an experienced traveller, because you will not see one single employee to help you. I never had high expectations with vacation homes because I understand they don't serve you like in hotels, but I have to say, any other vacation homes I've been to is better than Legacy.

the condo was more than we expected. the rooms were clean and decorated nicely. This experience will make our future vacations easier to plan than staying at a hotel we will definately stay at a condo or house rental from now on. It gives you a feeling of being at home away from home. It was a great place to stay and visit.

Accommadations where the best can't wait to do it again next year. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

i called for directions because they were not emailed to me and the woman was so rude someone could have let us know about the pool heat the house was full of bugs the bed was not comfortable four star this was not

My family and I reserved this house to visit the Theme Parks over Thanksgiving. Upon arrival (9:30pm), the front light of the house was burned out, making it difficult to open the lock box. The house was "broom swept" clean. My children noticed dirt. In addition, the sink disposal was jammed with teabags, the beds were stiff, we were shorted wash cloths, and only given two rolls of toilet paper. The stove had a stripped burner knob, and the fridge had an expired water filter in it. I called the Rental Agent. her responses were as follows, "we are not a hotel. We only place one roll of TP per bathroom." Unfortunatley, one of the rolls was 90% used upon our arrival. I have 4 children. The Rental Agent did not offer any type of credit or refund, nor did she apologize. I told her that I will not refer this place to any of my friends, as I would be embarrassed by the overall shape of the house. It was below average. I was charged $82 for "post cleaning." Whomever is cleaning for them should be fired. It didn't even smell clean. The ONLY good part about this rental was the short distance to area attractions. Other than that, I was not treated like a Customer, rather another "dumb" tourist that had to listen to a person on the other end of the phone say the "same old thing" as she probably gets these calls all of the time. To the Travel Site from which I booked this trip is reading, you may want to consider dropping this company. There are plenty of other sites I can go to to find a vacation deal. The people that maintain this property do not show ANY empathy or pride in their rental...

We really loved the condo. It was a little far from some of the attractions (25 - 30 min) but the area was nice and the resort was excellent. The ONLY problem I had is that I never received an email saying that I had to register on the web site prior to arrival. Also, the check in directions were totally wrong. Having said that, once we managed to check in everything was better than expected. Would TOTALLY do it again.

Great price for a 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom beautiful and spacious house. Rooms were very clean and Disney oriented. Amenities were clean and house was very nicely decorated. Quiet neighborhood but a little hard to find but once we found it, it was only a few miles away from the Disney parks. Highly recommend! Cons: Sofa and stair walls need a bit of cleaning. Wifi didn't work and alarm was confusing...
