Howard Johnson Enchanted Land Hotel Kissimmee FL

It looks a lot nicer on their web site than it actually was. Older hotel with cracks in the walls. Pool was nice, but temperature was set too high. Pools are made to cool off in & it was warmer than bath water. Location was good. Very close to everything in Orlando. fridge was broken & so was the microwave. Coffee pots are little half cup makers. I would not stay here again.

Because of inept check-in procedure and not following proper policies, unauthorized room access was given to our rooms, resulting in a laptop and carrying case being stolen (value of $615.00). A police report was taken. Owner does not answer phone calls or letters from me or Howard Johnson Corporate offices. He continues to act with inpunity toward his customers. Due to a very bad location, there are multiple shady characters hanging around all areas of the hotel. For personal safety as well as property safety, it is best to avoid this hotel at all cost.

Location was very convenient to my daughters home. She had extended family for Thanksgiving and it gave good affordable hotel. We mostly used it to sleep as we spent all our time at her home.

The hotel was old, slightly run down, room was average with a ceiling that had a leak recently.

The room smelled like milew, and there was a $2.50 resort fee. Where was the resort in this room?

Negatives.... The Howard Johnson Enchantedland hotel was not a very nice hotel considering the price we paid. Very limited space in the bedrooms. We had to request more toiletries, towels and coffee as they didn't leave enough. Very sad and dark atmosphere in the lobby. Pluses.... We were 4 in the bedroom, so it was nice to have the bathroom separated from the vanity area. The A/C, even though very old, worked perfectly.

If your looking to have a comfortable, clean room this hotel has that.The room comes with Frig and microwave. It's on the main road leading to Disney just a few minutes away. The pool is clean and it goes up to 8 ft in deepth.The price is right.. I would stay there again.

Even though it wasn't for very long, the stay at the Howard Johnson Enchantedland was very nice. I would recommend it to family and friends and plan to stay with my family next time we are in the area again. Next time I'll be sure to inquire about the enchanted option rooms they offer for kids, since it was just myself this time I didn't get a chance to see them.

We did not feel safe at this hotel. Room had strong deodorizer smell, like they were trying to cover up other odors. Did not feel safe walking outside the room alone. There were several strange people walking around the hotel. We will not go back.

My husband and I stood here for memorial day weekend because it was close to all the parks and the price was right. I was very pleased with the location, the room was clean, close to lots of restaurants and stores. The pool and poolside bar was also very nice.
