Howard Johnson Enchanted Land Hotel Kissimmee FL

I arrived very early, although I was asked to come back, when I did, the gentleman at the desk remembered me, remembered I asked for and received a first floor room. The room was very comfortable, the only drawback was the TV, it did not get all the local stations. Otherwise It was a very good stay and good value.

The hotel was close to everything we liked that about it, but it was a bit messy. I didn't like the smell of the room, I've been to better Howard Johnson hotels.

The really ugly

I stayed here with my husband, a friend, her son (1 yr old) and a dog. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The bathtub was DIRTY and nasty. The A/C didn't work well and we had only one electricity plug available so when I wanted to charge my phone or my computer I had to unplug the microwave or the lamp. They offer military discount but didn't say anything until after we paid so we couldn't get it. I don't think they know the meaning of "customer satisfaction" cause they weren't even polite. The internet connection SUCKS. But then again I paid $25 a night.

An older Florida style motel. Coffee,Micro, Fridge in the room. Clean, frendly staff. Close to most of the Orlando area attractions. We needed a place to stay where we could meet with family to go to the parks. Good basic room for the price but don't expect a lot of extras.

This hotel was so disgusting! There were ROACHES in the breakfast area..right by the toaster We had two rooms there. The room my mom was in had stains on the carpet. So we asked for a new room. The new room was way cleaner still not clean. I have a one year old who required a "crib" The "crib" ended up being a pack n play w puke all over the side. I told the guy this is unacceptable and we will need a clean one. They brought another stained up pack n play..YUK! Also, my daughter spilled gold fish all over the floor. When I called the front desk they said housekeeping was gone for the day. I was concerned bkus she was eating them off the floor so I asked if I could use thier broom and clean it up myself. The front desk said it was and "extensive request" and didn't let me use it. However, the only good thing was the hotel was in a convenient location close to everything. we checked out immediately and went to holiday inn which was beautiful, accomadating, and not dirty at all. When we tried to get a refund, the manager was never there anytime [...] when we called. We believe one of the people we saw was a manger and pretending to not be there. However, a week later we got our refund of 296 for 5 nights for 2 rooms! No wonder it was so gross!

We arrived to find long black hairs on all three bed's sheets. Obviously the sheets had not been changed between guests. The banister of the tree house room was so gross I took a wet facecloth and BLACK came off on to it when I wiped it down. I was appalled they would let anyone sleep here. After promptly leaving and told we would get our money back because we refused to stay in a room with DIRTY SHEETS, I still a week later do not have a refund and I am getting the run around. Watch out, DON'T stay here! We live an hour away from Disney, and stay two times a month as a get away with the kids. This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in, and we have stayed in many over in Orlando area. This is just plan gross to not clean a room and expect someone to sleep on someone elses filth. They should be ashamed of themselves. It only got a one because I couldn't give it a zero.

this was the worst hotel we have ever stay at! one of the double beds box springs was so worn out it broke.the hotel was clean but paint was pealing off the bathroom walls. fire ants wore ever where and i was bitten several times over our 3 days. we left this hotel early to sleep in our car with our kids the last night of our stay. will never stay here again!stay away from here!

Horrible smell when walking into the hotel room. Ants on the bathroom counter and all over the walls and floor in the bathroom.

I don't like leaving bad reviews. I know it is how someone decideds whether to visit a business but I always feel bad. However, upon visiting this hotel we were greeted with unfriendly staff, a room that the lights would not work in the front half, and learned the following morning that while a portion of the breakfast bar was complimentary you had to pay for your beverages, even if you got water.
