The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lake Buena Vista is an official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel and the affordable property attends to two of the most essential needs during a leisure trip: transportation and a hot breakfast. JGs Poor Vacation
Very Disappointing
This hotel was a major let down. We expected a nice hotel since its Holiday Inn but no we got a cheap run down hotel. i only liked the landscaping and the breakfast. Its poorly located if you dont have a car because taxis take for ever to get there. Your a mile away from any good resturaunts. It was overall a bad hotel.

If your going to disney or universal your gonna drive about ten miles so you better have a car cause taxi is expensive. Only one shuttle to and from hotel. It runs only once.

Good location and price
Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Thin walls and so you can hear noise from other rooms. For breakfast, there is only one toaster sometimes causing long line if you go after 8:30 AM.

Very nice location.
The hotel was nice. But the shuttle service was horrible. The times didn't really coincide with the parks, also the drivers were very unfriendly, they made us feel like we were an inconvience. You would think they would be a little more friendly if they work for tips, but I guess they don't care! Everyone on the bus thought this!! I'd rather take a taxi, which we did a few times!

Hotel NOT quiet!
Rooms very noisy, could clearly hear people in the next room over and hear people walking in the room above. Had to blast the AC fan to drain a little noise.

Great for families and close to Disney
Clean rooms w/queen size beds, which are better for families than smaller full size beds other hotels have. Big bathrooms w/plenty of counter space for toiletries. Less than 10-min drive from DisneyWorld and all kinds of restaurants (we had a rental car-not within walking distance). Decent free hot breakfast which was a money-saver for our family of 5. Disney ticket booth inside hotel.

One Week in Orlando
Overall it is fine. I like the location and the price was reasonable. The pool is a little too small though.

Short drive from hotel
Restaurant called Vines has a nice environment where live band plays great music. This is for those who prefer not too crowded and super high volume music venue. It is on 7533 West Sand Lakes rd. Blue Martini is also good but on the weekends it gets rowdy and way too crowded.

Not bad but not the best
The 'free shuttle' was amazingly restrictive so we never used it. In the rooms, the internet was through an ethernet cable (no wifi except in the lobby). Those two things were disappointing, but the rest of the stay was great. The room was comfortable and clean, the pool was clean and a nice temperature, breakfast had a nice variety. The business center (to print) needs a few more computers or something. The video card on one is dying so the screen looks terrible. The other had the mouse and internet unplugged, but worked fine after I fixed those (I'm a geek so I know how).

So So Hotel
It's very sad that somebody stole my bag in the hotel lobby. It contained very valuable things. It was worth about $300.00 dollars, if not more.The hotel manager acted like he did not care. His name is [...]. The hotel tel. is 407-997-1700; ext.784.[...]

orlanda trip
i enjoyed my stay. it was relaxing.all of the staff were friendly and courdious.all around it was agood trip. i just wish it was alittle closer to resterants.was not much to do within walking distance from the rooms.
