Great location
Main gate is accurate! Very short drive to Disney World. Pool was good but kiddie pool COLD. Breakfast good and well stocked, nothing fancy. Free Wi-Fi was appreciated. I would come here again.

Great start for a great vacation
We stay here to rest up after the long drive down and to make sure we are refreshed and ready to utilize our vacation time to the fullest. Having a nice, well kept pool to relax in and the wonderful complimentary breakfast are definite winners for us.

Comfort Suites Maingate
Hotel was fair. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool, although the kiddie pool was too small and not appropriate for a child that may be autistic. Lighting in the room was too dark even with all the lights on. Cable was not clear on TV.

Good location but hold your nose
The location was good and the price was very reasonable. It took about 15 minutes drive time from the hotel to the parking at Disney (give or take depending on the park). However, the room reeked of mildew. Turned the A/C down, and it helped a little. Got used to until went outside and came back in. Whole time the room smelled like wet socks. The carpet felt damp to the touch. TV had poor cable reception, half the channels came in fuzzy. TV was old, so maybe some of the rooms have been updated. Overall the facility was fine. Upkeep seemed good. Rooms were quiet. The hotel offered a modest continental breakfast that was adequate. Plus there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. If you are looking for close location at a modest price, this might fit. However, since I only live a couple hours away and plan to frequent the area, I will try another hotel. The mildew smell was too much..and when I mentioned it to the check out staff, they just shrugged.

Nice hotel, convenient shuttle
We stayed at this hotel to enjoy the area theme parks, and the free shuttle was perfect! This hotel was a lot more cost effective than staying at the Disney resorts, and was a nice hotel. It wasn't fancy, but perfect for families. The rooms were quiet, we didn't use the pool but it looked nice and had a bar right there too. The breakfast was very crowded and didn't have much to offer, but there were restaurants and a supermarket right across the parking lot from the hotel to get food and such.

Excellent Family Hotel
Had a Great Experience at the Comfort Suites Maingate. The complimentary shuttle to the parks was the main reason for choosing this hotel. The shuttle was excellent, however, looking back, because of the tight schedule of the shuttle, we lost several hours of "park time" as we had to leave late and get back early for the shuttle. Overall, the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, and the free breakfast was 7-8 out of 10, which is very good in my opinion. It was very slow as we went on a Monday/Tuesday, which was nice. Also, plenty of restaurants and mini golf within walking distance. I would recomend the hotel to families as well as all others.
