Comfort Inn Maingate

This was a 1 night stop to our next destination. We enjoyed staying. It was quiet and very easy to find. Very clean and nice staff. Would consider staying again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was good. Everything else is, well, blah. The rooms are indeed renovated by layering a thick coat of paint over everything. The hotel is trying to nickel and dime you. There is a mandatory $3.00 or so fee for something that the staff was unable to explain. They said, "services", but what these services were they weren't sure. The continental breakfast was $3.50 per person. For that you get lukewarm coffee and stale bagels. I don't think so. The toilet in our room made a sea of water on the bathroom floor. We told the front desk about it and they reported it as fixed later that day. The sea mysteriously reappeared in a day. Well, at least they tried.

Had to make a last minute reservation. The low price had me worried about what I would be walking into. What I walked into was the best value in town. SPOTLESS clean room, mini-fridge, microwave, well stocked bathroom, and good water pressure in the shower. Will definitely be staying here again. KUDOS to Clarion!!!

This hotel isn't bad. They keep the rooms fairly clean and the hotel seems fairly clean overall. The one issue I had with this hotel is that it nickel and dimes you. They charge a few dollars per person/per day for a simple continental breakfast that most hotels give for free (and the selection was no better). Also, they charge an additional fee per night above what you pay on Orbitz for the "free" wireless internet (and other misc. amenities). The one thing that was nice about this hotel was the free shuttle service to the Disney and Universal theme parks. While the shuttle times weren't extremely convenient, it was a nice perk that we took advantage of during our stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you plan to spend most of your time away. It is a good place to come and sleep and then get moving again bright and early in the morning.

nothing was good. It was horrible stay. We thought hotel would be good. Pictures looked nice on website. A/c was not working. Hotel were not helpful. No breakfast at all.

We wanted a clean room and a convenient location at a reasonable price while we visited the Disney parks, and that's what we got. There were a lot of restaurants conveniently located. The staff was very courteous. If you want to spend your time lounging around an elegant pool, this is not the place for you as the pool was basic.

Nice hotel for sports fans & Great location for Brave fan's

My daughter said it best "I am not impressed with this hotel". They are located next to the Crabby Joe All U Can Eat Seafood Buffet and as soon as you walk into the lobby you are greeted with the smell of seafood (not very pleasant). As soon as we got off the elevator to go to our room the hallways were extremely hot and humid with an old damp, moldy smell. They looked like they can use a fresh coat of paint. Our room was okay but we could not escape the smell of dampness and mold. Our AC was working but was not blowing the coldest air despite being on high cool, full blast. It also took a good 2-3 minutes to get hot water in the shower. The room service was not the greatest. Although our beds were made each morning the pillows were never picked up off the floor nor was the soap replenished until the third day in. The pool was good but the hot tub had a green hue to it and the floor felt slimy.

The hotel said in it's description that it had shuttle service to the parks. But it was only one bus going in the am and one coming back at night. The times were VERY inconvenient adn they did not go to all tha parks such as Magic Kingdom. We ended up having to take a taxi everywhere.

Another good deal for the money. Everything in the room was well stocked, had plenty of towels, and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
