Claremont Hotel Kissimmee

Never stay at this Resort. Very bad. Room smell, all dusk inside and outside the hall.Also there is a $15 resort fees.

This hotel was horrible, the customer service was just as bad, never had a reservation according to them

Were put in a room on a floor with no other people and the person responsible for giving the cleaning staff our room number seemed to forget us. Approximately six days out of our 12 day stay our room did not get cleaned. Had to call front desk or trackdown someone to get room cleaned. Will not stay here again.

First of all, this hotel was not Howard Johnson anymore at the time we arrived. From what the front desk clerk told us it had been bought by CLAREMONT hotel 3 weeks ago, and no one had the courtesy of informing us before we arrived. The hotel was being remodeled, therefore there was a lot of dirt and dust everywhere, how ever the new look the room had was kinda cute, but still not that wonderful. Needs a lot of improvement. The good thing about this is the location. I would stay again but only because I only use the hotel to sleep, nothing else. If you are a person that cannot handle cheap-looking places, DO NOT stay here.

The locartion is one of the things that make special this hotel, there are several options so you can eat and is just 20 minutes driving from Orlando and theme parks, we found 2 outlets near to the hotel and is on a highway that you can take to go anywhere in Florida. The stuff is kind and helpful and the room we got was brand new, clean and comfortable. The pool area was good enough to relax after a long day. They are improving and getting things better in this hotel, so I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is nice, economic and have a good location. It has new rooms for the next year.

The worse experience ever!!! I had stayed at this hotel in the past and now they are under new management with new employees who are always so serious and careless about the people staying there. I stayed for 6 days and the housekeeping came once out of the six days. I was in the last bldg. on the second floor with a child and the elevator was not working and our bags were heavy. I was told there was transportation to Universal Studios and come to find out there isn't, I had to spend over $200 in cab fair. On the last day I went to speak with the hotel manager and he disagreed with my complaints and said that his staff would never give such information when they did. He did not apologize or solve any issues...Very disappointed they also did not want to give me the number to a yello cab company and the spanish cab company they use charge $10-$15 more than a regular cab...They are wrong and misleading people. I would not recommend this hotel not even to my worse enemy....

Was not good. Construction was going on ,I was moved once to another room. It was noisey not relaxing at all.This was my third time staying there most likely my last.

Morning, To be honest it was not a good place, in our room we found one towel not good, cobwebs on the ceiling, at the carpet was not cleaned. At the end we could be there just one night, we need to pay other place to have a great time during that week. It was and advance paynment, is there any possibility to refund my money? Well, to start off, the name of the hotel has changed and so when my GPS said we had arrived at our address, we were a bit confused when the sign read Claremont and not Howard Johnson. Who do we blame for that, Orbitz or the hotel? And not only had the name changed but the hotel was under a huge amount of renovation. There was a TV in the lobby showing how much work was being done and they showed what the rooms that had already been renovated were like so we asked the clerk at the desk if we could upgrade our room at no additional cost giving the state of the entire hotel but she was very nasty and of course said no. Instead, she gave us a room in the very back of this extremely large hotel and it must have been one of only 5 or 10 rooms that weren't being renovated on that end of the hotel. We were two women alone on vacation and it would have been nice to have a room closer to the office or where more rooms were occupied. But I honestly feel the woman at the front desk purposely gave us what seemed to be the worse room and location they had. When we walked into the room it felt very damp and wet and smelled like a basement. There was furniture on all the sidewalks and tons of garbage in the parking lot that we literally had to drive around. I decided not to complain or ask to be moved because I feared it would have caused a situation that would have gotten us kicked out of the hotel all together. I chalked it up to “getting what I paid for”. It would definitely been worth spending a few more dollars to have a decent room. Lesson learned.
