Caribe Cove Resort

This is the second time we've stayed at Caribe Cove & I would recommend this place to anyone. It is off the beaten path (so it's not noisy), but only 15 minutes away from Disney. Having a kitchen is great-and Publix is only minutes away so you can stock whatever you want. Another plus is the washer & dryer, so you don' need to pack as much. When you compare it's price & what you get against a hotel room - to me it is a 'no contest'. The one thing to be aware of, there is no restaurant on site. But that was no problem for us.

This is a very quiet nice resort with wonderful rooms, very convenient to Disney World etc. but set off in it's own quiet spot. Definitely recommended. Note that it is kind of quiet - a nice pool and hot tub is as exciting as it gets but for most that is a plus. Also when you drive there note that on one side of the street 'Westside Blvd' is called 'Avalon'.

We couldn't find the resort right away but a quick call to the resort got us there in a short time. The resort was clean and quiet and just about 10 minutes from all the Disney Parks. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool/hot tub after a day at the parks. The kids enjoyed the free DVD rentals. The only negative we had during our stay was that the beds were not very comfortable. We stayed a week in a 2 bedroom and would definitely consider staying at the caribe cove resort in the future.

Large rooms, very clean, very quiet, and good location. Arrived at 1pm to see if we could get a early check-in and was told (rudely) no rooms were available even though there wasnt a car in the lot. Came back at 4pm checked in and was later told it was the off-season and there was barely anyone staying at the resort! So whats the problem? If you need to use the computer in the clubhouse its $4 every 15 minutes and the pool closes at 8.

I can't say enough good about my stay at this resort. The pricing was excellent to begin with and the rooms were spacious and private, accomodating and even the staff who we encountered going in and out daily were cordial and nice. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We'd do the parks or dinner, come in late and kick back comfortably.

Sometimes, little traffic to go somewhere.. Great maintenance, Clean and huge space of room, free internet, etc.. I got spider bite in my bed, so you need spray to kill bugs. If you are big family, you need more toilet paper.. It was great place. BTY, You have to pay resort fee and cleaning fee, which I don't like it.

Caribe Cover was a wonderful place to stay while on vacation. The rooms were big and clean very well. The kicthen had all the supplies that are needed to prepare food. The greates feature of all was the screened in balcony. We did not have to worry about bugs biting us while we relaxed outside on the balcony. I was suprised but very very pleased about this vacation resort.

We went there as a couple for a birthday/mini vacation. Although we used Mapquest, somehow we still managed to get lost. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and patient with me as I called the hotel several times for guidance. Once we finally arrived at 3am, I suppose she saw the look of exhaustion and desperation in my face. She was kind enough to upgrade us to the three bedroom. The view from our unit was gorgeous and overlooked the lake in the back. We spent one night on the balcony having a quiet romantic dinner. If you choose to do this, be sure to have an early start as the loud sound of the frogs croaking gets unbearable once it gets dark. My husband and I loved the unlimited DVD rentals. I will definitely be back with more people next time. We were disappointed with the non existent wireless service in the unit,the pool closes too early and if you have back problems, these beds will not help.

Well I must say that before booking my stay at Caribe Cove resort, I read every single review about this hotel from about 12 different hotel search engines and travel sites. Much to my surprise, the comments and reviews were dead accurate. Fist the resort is simply beautiful!! We had a 3 bredroom villa, and talk about spacious... The bathrooms were huge and very clean. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved it! There was 6 of us there and more then enough room to spread out! The resort is located off of rte 192 in very quiet area. The pool is a distance from the actual biulding were you would stay and it closes at 8pm which was a drag for us. The staff here needs improving in customer service. Be careful, there are some hidden fees that are associated with staying here that may not be listed on some travel sites. They are very serious about checking in at 4pm, so please do not arrive early like we did. They made us wait for 1 1/2 hours to get our room. Also bring your own computer, because it is free wireless and free in your room, but to use their computers in the lobby you will have to pay for it @ $4.00 per 15 minutes. The staff that checked me in was terrible. They made me pay an additional 45.00 + tax because I did not want them to put a 200.00 hold on my credit card for accidentals. Besides those few little mishaps, this place is simply great! If you are going to disney, it is about 12 minutes away. For universal, sea world, wet -n- wild and others, it's about 20 -25 minutes away. 15 minutes from the airport and right on the 192 strip where there are dozens of stores and places to eat. Trust met, you will love the stay here!
