Not what the pictures say.

The staff is nice and the pool areas are the same as the picture shows, but the rooms are very old and out dated. The bath tubs are destroyed they try to cover it with a bathmat. The sleeper sofa is so old and faded.

Holiday Stay

The 4 nights spent at the hotel were as expected-nothing to brag about. However, the breakfast provided was horrible. It was just me and my 7 yr old daughter who stayed at the hotel. I ended up having to pay for her to eat at the country inn across the way who could actually provide something warm for us to eat and hot coffee round the clock. In addition, On the day of checkout, I was extremely bothered by the additional resort fees that were charged for the breakfast and other... Nothing there had been used. Staff was friendly. Would def not choose again.

Do not take as an option

Sorry to be so hard but the truth is that the hotel is too cheap in every way. I had a 4 hour waiting because they didn't have a room ready and available at 1 pm. No luggage carts for the baggage. Once in the room at 5pm the smell was impossible and the bed lamps malfunctioning because the switches where broken. Next day we didn't understand what kind of breakfast are they use to serve but it was a shame. And to say au revoir (check out) they just charge you some extra fee that I don't know why they charge if I already had everything paid online thru the webpage of my travel company. I Would never return to this hotel nor recommend it at all.

Great for family and staff was very pleasant

This hotel was just what the doctor ordered. The kids were in heaven using the pools with the slides for hours at a time and the arcade The hottubs were awesome and new mattresses were put in all the rooms the week we there. The continental breakfast was quick and easy before our busy day. The major parks are all close by. There were gas grills to cook our lunch and dinner on too The staff were all very friendly. It was a great vacation for all and one to be remembered. I would definately go back

Calypso under construction

Nice Hotel, pools are great. The staff was great. Lots of good friendly advice.. etc. However, they have construction going on, the internet was not available in the rooms, and the business computer center by the lobby seems like it was last updated 5 years ago, the poor computer in the corner was heaving and whining.... The computer was awful slow, and with 15 minute online limits... the forced logoff was quicker than the 2 minute warning you had to save anything since it was sooooo slow.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

A couple leaving when we arrived warned us that their car had been opened, the night before and all valuables taken.. We left no valuables in the car at any time... probably good advise anywhere on vacation.

Good Value

When I first searched for a hotel I was searching for something inexpensive that we could afford for the time in Orlando and that looked descent...this hotel came up...the analyst in me took over and read only the two reviews that were left over....one super negative and the other one to some extent pessimist.....I kept on researching online and people seem ok with the place...so I felt for adventure and jetted to ORL with my van full of people... the lady in the front desk was very nice checked us in and we were in...On the way up to the room we were warned by another customer about room 208 it was noisy at night, and this happened to be our room..and boy I should have listened to her..it was super noisy...but the front desk lady was super help full and moved us and we were done....the rest of the stay we had some issues but nothing that the staff couldn't fix and fast....yes, they are selling time shares and you will see lots of movements, but nothing that bothered us or intervened with our stay and yes since there are lots of people passing by you can see some garbage here and there but not to the point of disgusting and this is the problem with busy places.... yes, the wireless do not work on the room at least on the rooms facing the pools...cannot say about the rooms facing the parking lot. The late noise from the neighbors wasn't an issue either, didn't hear none either. There are four pools available and at least two pools have bars available. To my overall opinion, the hotel is worth the money...most of the staff are bilingual Spanish and English so communications are not an issue. My two cents the hotel is not top notch but not bad either…I have been in worst that cost a lot more with less friendly staff…my kudos to [...] at the front desk…

Unbeatable location for the price

We were on the 6th floor great view. the pool was great for the kids. The beds were not so bad. The location was great to not far from Disney. There is a Walmart supercenter about a mile away. It's good.

The bad, the worse, and the ugly

Hotel pictured online was an apartment complex that can be rented for way more money. However, this was not explained in the website. Online we booked a suite with two double beds. When we arrived, we got a room with 1 king size bed. We went down and the staff changed it to a room with 2 double beds. The room smelled like backed up plumming. There was a huge hole in the bathroom wall where it exposed the studs in the wall. The bathroom ceiling had black mold on it, the plumming in the bathroom and in the sink was slow. There were holes in the blankets and the sprinkler fixture was outside the wall, yet exposing another hole in the wall. We realized we did not get room service the next day because our towels were not replenished. We called to the front desk and we had to go get our own towels b/c the staff member was the only one down there. We were told that if we wanted room service we had to hang our "room service" sign on the door. The next day, we did just that but did not get room service and the towels just piled up during our whole stay. That same night our room was booked to someone else who was able to open our door with their key. When checking out we told the front staff about our stay and how we never got room service even though we put our sign up. The staff member just waved her hand in the air, rolled her eyes, and said,"They don't speak english." Which by the way, insulted me very much because, just like the girl behind the front desk was of hispanic origin, my wife and her family are also of hispanic origin who speak limited english and I felt this was a cheap reason to explain their bad service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone
