Never again here

Never again!

This hotel is overpriced, old and worn and definitely not deserving of 3 stars. First, you must pay extra when you get there for "amenities". This includes the exercise room (not open), the WiFi (not working, but you must sign an agreement saying you will not hold them responsible) and the pool (in 60 degree weather). The breakfast buffet has only white carbs, and 2 toasters for up to 150 guests at a time. They no longer serve fruit, because people were "taking it" and it was costing them money. The doors to the rooms are on the outside, so you can never open your curtains because the people who run by at all hours and scream could look right in. There are not enough lights in the room to read by, no seating except the beds and the toilet runs for a good 5 minutes every flush. Telling the front desk about the problems results in them saying, "it's fixed now". No it's not. Never again.

Crooks

The folks here are crooks, the rooms are glamorized in the pictures, noise is unbelievable here, no insulation at all. The AC is old and very loud, the pool is dirty. The staff are rude, bored and very unprofessional even for simple request like room service (did not have room service for 2 out of the 4 days there). If you stay here it will ruin your entire experience of Orlando.

overall good experience

Good- Hotel is at good location if you are visiting Disney world. Bad: I will never recommend kids suite if you are staying with kids at hotel. The separate portion for kids is like Jail for kids. I have to change room next day with two queens beds which I think is reasonable for the money I paid. My personal experience is that I will not stay there next time if i am staying with kids. Also do not buy tickets online from Disney its very expensive. Go there at Orlando and look for deals.

Good location..

Its location is good, lots of restaurants and near the attractions. The rooms is not very clean or fancy, but oridinary. Considering the price I paid I do not have complaints....I do not understand why they are charging resort fee. The breakfast is just OK...

Great place to stay in the Disney area

I had a great time for what I used the Hotel for. It was a place to sleep and relax after a day exploring Florida. We left before 9:00 A.M. every morning and returned after 8:00 P.M. every night so It was a great place to relax. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We did not eat breakfast there at all once so could not comment on that amenity. The pool looked clean and the courtyard was beautifully landscaped so if someone wanted to relax outside in the evening you could.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

Go visit the beaches in the Gulf, Indian Rocks Beach, and the beaches along the east coast, Cocoa Beach, we parked at the city park in both cases, had to pay at Indian Rocks Beach, $7.00, free at Cocoa Beach. The Gulf was the better choice for a nicer beach and clearer water.

Great Stay!

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. It is in a good location to enjoy all the activities and dining that Kissimmee has to offer. The room was a good size and everything was nice. If you get a room facing the courtyard you will be treated to a wooded little park. The pool is a nice size and it is heated somewhat. Our only complaint was that the cabana at the pool was not open during our stay (perhaps because we vacationed in December??). The breakfast was so-so (average food for a hotel) but with so many dining options we skipped the free breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great for the price

Room was clean, staff very nice. Continental breakfast didn't include fruit for us vegans. Despite this and the drive to UCF(40 mins). I would recommend and definitely stay again.

Great Value, Great Location

I was in the area for a work conference and brought my family along since the proximity to Disney was too good not to take advantage. The hotel, while nice needs upgrades in terms of the elevators and the outdoor areas and hallways as they are a bit run down. Also the bathrooms need serious upgrading. Otherwise, the staff was great, there is free parking, free wifi and free breakfast.

Wonderful staff make an ordinary Hotel Special

We arrived far later than expected, tired from our travels.and from the off the staff were fabulous. They were very helpful, ensured we were comfortable and that was the same for the whole stay. Nothing was to much trouble and everything we sked of them was delivered with courtesy and professionalism. The only bad thing was the breakfast which is of the normal standard you find in most hotels in the states but some fruit would have been nice or a healthier option that buns, caked and pastries. Overall a great base in a great location. The rooms are a little outdated but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Well worth the money and i would advise anyone that wants a cheap hotel to stay in to stay here.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If deciding where to go to eat on City Walk stay away from margeritaville. The staff were rude and very dismissive. However the food, staff and experience at Bubba Gump was fantastic and i would advise to go there as a first choice.
