Newly expanded hotel with beach and oceanfront guestrooms
The newly expanded, updated Southernmost on the Beach hotel stretches along a secluded section of Key West coastline, far enough to provide respite from downtown craziness, but close enough to hit the scene any time. Guests can catch some rays on the private beach or visit the pier for front row seats of spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. - The Southernmost on the Beach is located on the Atlantic shore of historic old town of Key West. This gorgeous oceanfront property stretches out on a secluded section of the island; away from the hustle of Key West activities, but close enough to the excitement when you want it. The brand new and renewed Southernmost on the Beach hotel is just about half a block from the famous Duval Street and about a block from the Southernmost Point of the USA.

Family Friendly
The Southern Most on the Beach was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. For a family it was ideal because is was very close the beach, had a large pool, but also within walking distance of all the action on Duval Street.

Southtern Most Point was a short five minute walk and we found many restaurants with excellent food very nearby also. There was a small carryout just a block away in case you needed a snack or something to take to the beach or back to your room. There is a trolley stop just a block away also.

Loved the location
The Southernmost Beach had a great location at the quiet end of Duval St. Nice beach and pool area with a beach cafe and bar. Room had frig and coffee maker and a great view of the ocean. Well maintained grounds and a friendly staff. We enjoyed the night life of Duval St. but was nice to go back to this quiet gem at the end of the night.

Many places to eat up and down Duval. We really enjoyed a dinner at La De Da and a breakfast at Blue Heaven.

Nice vacation
Southernmost on the Beach is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. A mini fridge is provided along with a coffee maker, iron and hair dryer. A microwave would be nice. The beach is nice for lounging but not swimming. Enter the water at the private sunning pier. Southernmost on the beach is well located on the quiet end of Duval with plenty of activities and dining choices nearby.

Get away from the kids
The view was great. Sitting out on the balcony and looking at the ocean was so relaxing. The room was beautiful.

will definetly be back
On the quiet end of Duval, very near Hemmingway House, Southernmost Point, Butterfly Conservancy, all worth seeing. We walked to Mallory Square every night, around 2 miles but shops and cool places to eat all the way down make it fun.

Only place to stay in Key West
Great beach and pool environment, great bars and restaurant, great rooms with balcony overlooking the ocean. No need for a car, everything you need is within walking distance.

Very Nice
Service was impressive, from the check-in staff to the concierge. My wife and I stayed one night but went on a sunset cruise the evening of the second day. We were provided with a key to the swiming and beach areas, and allowed to park our vehicle in thier lot until we returned from the cruise. The room was very nice. Clean and spacious. The shower was huge, and the balcony was grest to have. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but this is the first I felt compelled to write a review about. I highly recommend it.

Located on the Atlantic side of Duvall Street, but can easily walk the to the other end and experiance the shopping, restaurants, and bars.

Fabulous Key West Getaway
Fantastic location...Duvall Street is a block away. You are right on the beach and the hotel has a fabulous beach cafe. The service at Southernmost on the Beach is top notch. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious. Right across the street is a convenience store with all of the essentials. We wouldn't stay any where else!

Short walk from hotel
Rent a scooter from across the street and travel that way around Key West. You won't have to worry about parking. A scooter is much easier to park around town.
