The newly expanded, updated Southernmost on the Beach hotel stretches along a secluded section of Key West coastline, far enough to provide respite from downtown craziness, but close enough to hit the scene any time. Guests can catch some rays on the private beach or visit the pier for front row seats of spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Exceeded Expectations
The main travel feedback site is not all ways right! This is the BEST hotel on Key West and I have stayed in a few. The service is that good you don't really even see the staff you just get what you need. Great beach and the pier is a great place to start any day. Book with Confidence you won;t be disappointed

Excellent Hotel
I stay there with my two daughters. The rooms were spacious, clean and well air conditioned. The staff was great. There was ample free parking and free Wifi.. It is at the south end of Duval Street. Close enough to walk, yet far enough to not here the night life when you want to sleep, We ate several meals at the Beach Cafe and enjoy every entree. We loved the place and will be back again

Southernmost Hotel on the Beach
Great staff, friendly and courteous Bed room is large we had 2 queen size beds Bath room has a large walk in shower Balcony is also large with views of the ocean. 3 pools counting the 2 at Southernmost Hotel across the street. 1 is reserved for just adults (which we used). 2 Pools have Bars In private beach area is the Southernmost Café & Bar Great happy hour at all bars.

Outstanding Honeymoon!
We went to Southernmost on the beach for our Honeymoon. The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is tucked away at the end of Duvall street and placed right on the ocean. So there is plenty of quiet and privacy but the fun of Duvall street is literally right around the corner. Everything was in walking distance. The grounds are meticulously kept and there are plenty of romantic spots around the grounds including hammocks and chairs by the ocean. The pool is beautiful and did I mention the pool bar? It was great. The bartender was awesome and welcomed us honeymooners with a special cocktail. They really make you feel at home. It was a great experience and a great stay. We will defintely return here in the future for our anniversaries!

Long walk from hotel
If you have the time, take a day trip to the Dry Tortugas via the Yankee Freedom ferry. It is a little pricey but defnintely worth the money. It takes almost a full day but you see the beautiful waters, explore Fort Jefferson and are privvy to some great snorkeling.

Excellent hotel, great staff, a little pricey, but worth every penny.
On the water! Rooms are nice sized, but who really cares about the room - one stays at this hotel for the location which cannot be beat. There is a semi-private beach next door, a great restaurant, 2 bars, a phenomenal pier and gorgeous, gorgeous views. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are impeccably clean, the toiletries are fantastic - addictive, almost. This hotel is not in the 'center of everything' but, Key West is pretty small so one can take a bike or walk to the 'party size' of the island, or simply relax pool side with a Pina Colada, enjoy the ocean views and watch the people.

Try the Banana Café - awesome food, amazing service. Also, the Southermost Café on the Beach - coconut shrimp - just right!!! YUM!!!

Mis-leading Marketing
Unfortunately what you see is what you DONT GET . do NOT use their website as a guideline , the pool they advertise -where is that !! Looks nothing like the pool they use on the advertising blurb , we also paid for an ocean view - UNLESS you secure first floor room , its not worth the additional money ( and it aint cheap!!) - our view was a wall ( not happy) when we brougt this to the attention of the management , not interested , would not move us , only offered as an upgrade at a discounted rate of $300 surplus for the 3 nights we were staying .. No thanks !!! Never met such disinterested staff in terms of delivering a quality service - we wish we had stayed elsewhere for the money we paid £750!!! so so so disappointed !

Anniversary Vacation
My husband and I just returned from our 30th anniversary celebration trip at Southernmost Hotel on the Beach. The facilities were lovely, the grounds and rooms very clean and beautiful. The weather was perfect everyday and the staff were very accomodating and went out of their way to ammend things that were not quite right with our reservation. We would definitely go back again.

Excellent Escape
We were greeted with superb hospitality. Our room was clean and the cleaning staff and pool staff all super. The hotel is really beautiful and the view from our room outstanding. Hope we get to return someday.

Beach Vacation
Our room had an excellent view, comfortable bed, and was very clean. The pool staff attended to our every wish. I was very pleased with the entire stay.

This was hotel was in a great spot easy walking to eveything or rideing a bike. Well staffed everyone was right there for all your needs. I stayed eithier the pool or the beach area. Our waitress Heather at the shores bar was great and had some great dinner suggestions. I would joke we her beacause she looked just like Reese Weatherspoon the actress she said she had been told that before. Thanks again for the great time Tim

Great eating place called Santiago's very good food call for a reservation beacause its always busy and your right there close to duval st where there is always things happening.
