Silver Palms Inn

Silver Palms Inn was just what we were looking for. It was located perfectly in the heart of Old Town. Close enough to Duvall to walk but far enough away, that we could experience Key West more as a local rather than an overt tourist. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff super friendly. I like it, and so did my mom.

The rooms are very nice, eco friendly, beautiful pool area and the staff was very friendly, however a little far from the boardwalk . Just a word of caution if you pay for 2 nights and have to leave suddenly the hotel will not refund the second night.

Hotel was great and so was the Staff. It was a little walk down to Duvall but still a great place.

We originally arrived early, around noon, to Key West. We were tired and really wanted to be able to check-in early to be able to relax after the long drive from Miami. The staff was extremely friendly upon our arrival and offered us a bottle a water while they checked if the room was ready. We were told as we arrived that we might have to wait but as we processed the formalities of check-in the desk agent got a call that the room was ready and was able to check-us in immediately. The hotel is spotless, I mean really clean. No smells, no stains, it is brand new and so is the Pool. Parking is plentiful and the room was really nice with all the amenities. Flatscreen TV, glass door shower and balcony with chairs and table. We were about 4 blocks from Duval St, down Truman. We walked everywhere on the island from the hotel. Overall, a great experience that really stands out from my past travels. I would definitely stay there again.

I love this place during the low season. Prices are more affordable during August and September. The rooms are great. Love the bed. Everything is clean and the rooms are even eco-friendly. The only negative I would give is the gym. It is very tiny. There are only 3 cardio machines and that is it. Luckily I only usually stay one night here so I don't feel bad about not having any weight machines. I like that it is a small hotel and free breakfast. Not too many hotel in Key west offer that.

Perfect location to allow the sightseeing on foot traveler to get anywhere in Key West easily. Darling rooms very well appointed with style and Key West charm. In the historic district but completely modern. Great pool to lounge by with very friendly and willing to help with anything staff. This is the perfect getaway for the non-snooty set...

Great except air conditioning was located too close to bed, blowing cold air directly to sleeper!

We chanced on the Silver Palms by accident and I'm glad that we did. Accomodation was first class; exceptionally clean with great facilities, and in a fabulous location. The safe, fridge and microwave in each room along with the coffee/tea making facilities were very welcome and practical. The availability of the front desk staff 24/7 made us feel secure and they were helpful when asked questions. The breakfast at this hotel was wholesome and offered a great variety of products to start our day. All in all, a great find; we will definitely be back!

Room was really nice. "Green" feature of lights and A/C automatically being turned off when key card was removed was nice. However my roommate took the card out to go to the lobby while I was showering so 30 seconds later I was in the complete dark. I could only laugh! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast offerings were quite good. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I found the Silver Palms Inn, Key West, to be a terrific boutique hotel. As very frequent travelers for business and pleasure, we appreciated the Customer Service orientation and friendliness of all the staff, tasteful design and furnishings throughout the property, cleanliness, and extremely comfortable beds. The location was ideal to the center of the action in Key West--a few blocks from Duval Street.
