Located on Duval with nearby activities for those who don't care to walk much. 4 lights over from Sloppy Joes - which is reasonable for most walkers. Lots of transportation options.

Pegasus
This hotel is within walking/stumbling distance to everywhere on Duval St and the Seaport. This hotel had a great view of the action on Duval and a heated pool! The breakfast was adequate. It is an older hotel, but I thought it was very charming. Offsite parking was not included (~$10.00 flat); but the rate was very reasonable considering the area. The only downside is internet is available only for a charge (I used my phone instead). I would definitely stay here again, especially if I wasn't certain about having a DD.

Wonderful location
The check-in girl was not friendly at all during our stay. The rooms were quaint but could use new carpet. The location was great...Parking was a plus as well.We would opt to stay there again.Just a few changes would make this hotel a really cool place to stay.

Pegasus International - a value find!
We didn't know what to expect when we arrived at the hotel since the cost was so much lower than others in the area. But we were pleasantly surprised to find decent accomodations. Although not modern at all, the place was very well kept and everything worked as intended. The staff was friendly and the location was great for shopping, dining, nitelife, etc. We didn't use the pool since weather did not permit, but it looked small and basic. The rooms don't have irons or ironing boards but there is one available for use in the lobby... meaning you have to iron your clothes in the lobby. There is a pizza/sub shop next door that opens late which is a little noisy if your room overlloks the front.

Rustic, but a good location
Great location for the price we got of 119+ tax for one night. Right on Duval Street in the middle of the action. We had planned a trip to Key West for years and finally got an opportunity to go. Key West is basically a drinking town just FYI. Would we return to Key West? Nah.... been there: mystery solved. It's also a pretty long drive down there .... 45-55 mph the whole way so it takes about 4 hours or so from the Miami area. You really only need one night down there ... perhaps before a cruise, like we did it.

unbeatable location for the price
It was a great location to everything downtown. The price was reasonable for the location. It was a old hotel and located on corner of Duval and Southard Streets. The bathroom was too narrow. No breakfast was included but everything was within walking distance. Staff were very pleasant. There is a charge for parking. Otherwise the hotel sufficed as a place to stay if you weren't expecting too much.

Key West hotel review
The location was perfect. Our room had a view down both Duval St and Southard St so we could see a lot of action going on. There was a smoker's balcony just outside our door which gave an even better view of the Duval St activities. This, however, did mean the room was in a noisy area and there is little in the way of sound dampening. Will do it again.

Great location!
We wanted to be in the heart of the city and this was ideal. We were in early (22:00) and it was stll lively outside. We enjoyed the sites & sounds from our window. Besides strolling the streets we went to Mallory Sguare for the sunset (party) and to the southern most tip. We also visited Mel Fisher's and the Truman museum among other landmarks. In the evening when we returned we would have enjoyed using a hot tub but we didn't see one pool side. Other than that we were comfortable.
