Great amenities, uncomfortable rooms.
Staff was great. Other guests were great. Very friendly. The bed was awful. Very uncomfortable. Cheap toilet paper as well. Room had a wall unit for A/C which was very loud. Louder than it was supposed to be -- something was wrong with it. Perhaps it was vibrating against the wall frame, but it made it hard to sleep. Seemed I would wake up every time it kicked on. Hotel guests/bar/pool area was generally quite overall upon bedtime though. We upgraded and got a private deck right next to the pool which was very nice.

The room was very nice, althouhg a bit small, great for just sleeping. AC worked perfectly, there was a jacuzzi just outside of the room and a kitchen with a big fridge for everyone to use for free. The locatikn is great also, walking distance to everything worth seeing. Parking is nearby the hotel and it's free of charge.

Pearls Key West
My stay at Pearls Key West was OK. The hotel grounds were nice and both swimming pools were nice. Nice outside bar but prices for drinks were outrageous. Breakfast menu was GREAT! Most of the staff were nice and willing to help. The room was very small as well as the bathroom. Air conditioning was at head level while trying to sleep and very noisy. Hotel could use new paint in rooms and new furniture. I guess for your money this would be a cheap hotel to stay in but I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel to stay in while at Key West. I would rate this hotel as JUST OK.

A stay here is a cherry on top of any Key West getaway
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly, honest, attentive staff that made us feel right at home. Breakfast is to die for & reasonably priced. Although our room (economy) was not the most spacious, it had every amenity one could ask for and was extremely clean. With a location within walking distance of anything and everything Key West has to offer you will feel that you are in the heart of it all while still being nestled in a private paradise. All of this and a pool, hot tub and outside bar area that will be hard to pull yourself away from.

Mostly mellow. 2nd floor deck off my room with winding stairs down to the bar. Comfortable pools, nice foliage and strong drinks.

worst room ever
this hotel looked like a B& B on the web site but it isn't. our room was on the 3rd floor converted attic with sloped ceilings that we hit our heads on just moving around this tiny room. Very disapointed in this stay for over $200

pearls, a true gem of key west
The pearls was fantastic, small enough to be cozy but big enough where you had your own space if wanted. the patio bar, breakfast and service were great. the only draw back is that the mattresses could have been better, much better. I do suffer from chronic back problems but my fiance doesnt and she was even sore after the week. we plan on going back same time next year. :)
