Orchid Key Inn

Perfect location between uptown and downtown and quick access to the beach. Quiet location as well. Rooms are well appointed and clean, a very modern style with a nice walk-in shower and cool fixtures. The room is a bit small, but is well organized and functional with a microwave, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, IPOD docking station and a flat screen tv. They have a nice continental breakfast from 7-10am each day and offer a cocktail hour spread from 5-7 each evening, providing the first drink free of charge (beer, limited wine selection only) and have a nice full bar as well with great music. Pool area is small and often packed. The pool is mostly just a dipping pool with a gradual decent to 5 ft so no swimming really. Great part about the pool area is that is shelters the wind on cooler days and keeps you baking in the sun wind-free. Highly recommend this hotel. For the money, this is a great value. We had a blast!

For a couple longing for a quiet, very comfortable getaway only a few steps away from restaurants, shops etc, it doesn't get any better. We felt like being in an oasis. Very quiet, laying by the pool, we had our own paradise. Highly recommended!

This hotel was very nice very clean staff was very helpful to all our needs great location It was our frst time in key west i will go back and i am sure i fond the hotel i would stay at the people from front desk cleaning staff and bar service where right on LOVE this place

Hotel staff very accomodating. Excellent location, on Duval but a couple blocks from the chaos. Nice sized rooms. Ample parking.

Very contemporary, and well maintained Stafff was very nice. Pool and Jacuzzi were in great condition.I wish the room had been a little larger. The complimentary breakfast was very healthy and fresh. Mainly breads and pastries and fruit I prefer the more traditional hot breakfast. No complaints however. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

While most pictures of hotels in the Keys (and everywhere) tend to make the property look substantially better than it really is, this place just about lived up to the image presented...and the location is PERFECT. Everything was very clean compared to most hotels, but there were some small holes in the curtains and buildup on the shower head that probably should have been taken care of by maintenance. My biggest gripe was that the latch on the bathroom door was jammed open in such a way that the door (which was right next to the toilet) wasn't able to be fully closed, let alone locked. I asked for it to be fixed within 20 minutes of arrival, but they didn't tend to it during our stay. A 1-2 inch gap in the door next to the toilet makes privacy impossible during those less "romantic" moments of the trip.

We were at the Orchid Key Inn for a friend's birthday celebration. Loved the location, the rooms are lovely and the staff is very helpful.

The staff was wonderful! They made everything easy - offering suggestions about sights to see, arranging bike rentals, kayaking trips, and restaurants. Kayaking and snorkeling are great - lots of beautiful fish and birds. The bar at the Inn is a fun place to unwind at the end of the day and the pool is a lovely way to cool off any time. We highly recommend Orchid Key and look forward to staying again.

The Orchid Key Inn is an amazing and modern hotel located conveniently on Duval Street. We loved everything about our stay here...except we wished we could have stayed longer! The staff was awesome, and we even got a free drink at the bar with our stay.
