Minimalist

The Merlins rooms are small but stylish and have your basics; nice bed, bathroom and Tv (very small flatscreen). The pool is also petite but is heated and has jets and was great for laying out. If you don't plan on spending a whole lot of time in your hotel room (and it is Key West so you shouldn't), this is a great place. It's not on Duval Street, so a little less noisy, but it is with in walking distance (1 block) to Duval and both ends of the island (in Old Town). I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. In fact, they give $50 credit for every three days for repeat customers!

Perfect oasis

This was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the great weather and surroundings... Walking distance from most Key West has to offer!!! Staff was very informative!!! I almost didn't chose to stay here because according to the travel site they don't accept Discover Card and yet they in fact do!!! I'm glad I stayed here and definitely would come again!!!

Great value for a last-minute trip to Key West

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, wireless internet was free and staff were very friendly! (I forgot some clothes there and they immediately contacted me so that they could send it back to me.) One issue is that parking is not super-easy to find, but I think that's the case with most of Key West. I will definitely return if/when back in Key West.

Nice place in good area

Small room but clean and comfortable. Close enough to all the bars on Duval and a short walk to the Southernmost point.

Half-Shell Raw Bar is the best local seafood joint. Walk past all the tourist traps to the back of the marina. Right on the water with a Key West vibe.

Not for everyone

This guesthouse is OVERPRICED for what you get. Parking is on street and only enough space for 4 cars. Everything is more the 4-6 blocks away, dining, sightseeing, etc. Some of the rooms are right on a busy, noisy street, VERY small with a minieture bathroomm and not enough water pressure to shower, only hanging for clothes 3 wall pegs, now phone, 12 inch TV. The continental breakfast is served poolside and is JUST OK.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

This place is in the worst location for anyting that you want to do in Key West! Too far to walk, no parking, must drive and Pray you'll find a parking space withing walking distance when you return.
