The J's Crew
Quiet, Private, Beautiful
The staff went out of their way to get our rooms ready for an early check-in, and were very informative about all things KeyWest. The property is kept immaculately clean, and beautifully landscaped around two pools that are a QUIET little slice of paradise. This is not a party place, a great relief from the mania on Duval St., even though it's only two streets away.

Hotel staff was very polite, helpful and informative. Property is a very well done renovation of an historical landmark. Two blocks to Duval St. and convenient to most downtown sights. Only drawback is no elevator. So if you prefer that ask for something on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Walk can be short or long depending on where you want to go in Key West. Pedi-cabs or regular cabs are very good. The hotel will help you arrange that.

Fantastic quiet getaway
The hotel is in the heart of old town Key West and close to the action, yet removed enough for a quiet retreat. The service and accomodations are the best.

The Marquessa is a small boutique-type hotel, just two blocks near the center of Duval St. It is easy walking to several attractions. The room was very pleasant and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool seemed very nice but we didn't try it because of cold weather. An added plus is the adjoining restaurant which could be the nicest one in Key West. We will gladly go back to the Marquessa on our next trip to Key West.
