Awsome hotel to stay
Has everything you need, shuttle service every 15 min, good food and bar, nice pool and hot tub and very nice staff.

Accommodating.
Rooms were dated but clean. Nice pool. Has a good restaurant next door. Staff at the hotel were friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Any requests were immediately attended to! Loved the free shuttle to and from the downtown restaurants, beaches, sites!

lovin life
One part good, one part bad
The first two nights we stayed in the old, seedy section of the hotel. The rooms were nasty with mysterious stains on the carpet, and the doors to the room and balcony looked like someone had broken into them. The tub was rusty and worn thin. The bathroom, itself, was was generally run down. All of which, I could have handled if it weren't for the bugs. We had to change rooms three times, twice in the middle of the night, because there would be swarms of termites, yes termites flying around the lamps after 11pm. The rooms also had sugar ants crawling around. When I complained about the bugs and having to move every night, the hotel staff's response was "well that's life in the tropics." It wasn't until I complained to the hotel manager that we got a room in the main building, by the pool. That room was in much better condition and free of bugs. To their credit, the staff did apologize for our trouble and give us gift certificates for the hotel restaurant.

In Hotel
Take the shuttle if you go to downtown Key West. Parking is really difficult and expensive there. You will be charged a daily fee for hotel parking and the shuttle regardless. If you do use this hotel, make sure you have a room in the main building.

Great Price!
If you are coming to Key West to party and have fun it doesnt really matter where you lay your head but this place was affordable, nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. At check-in they gave us 2 bags of cookies(came in handy at 4:30am) and when our room key wouldn't work the staff met us at the door with a new one. They also helped us carry up our luggage. Then the A/C wouldnt work and they sent the maintenance guy ASAP. He fixed it and when I asked him where the ice machine was he offered to go get ice for me! People were amazingly nice. Only wish we were there long enough to enjoy the pool which looked beautiful. Check-out was a breeze and hassle free. Would and WILL go back!!!

The hotel is tired and worn out. It needs some updating. Staff was nice, pool was enjoyable, but the rooms were terrible

Spring break 2012
The Hotel staff was outstanding. I liked the shuttle service to the main attraction areas. The Hotel room was older and could use some renovating. However, my overall experience was great.

Needs some updating
Your average hotel room, but the carpet in there was disgusting! The whole room had a dampness about it and would be much better off with tile. Plus there was a daily resort fee of 7.99, but you get to use a shuttle if that interests you.
