Wedding on ship at Key West

Great location close to Duval St and Mallory Square. The bed & breakfast was clean, with beautiful landscaping in a quiet setting. All the excitement was less than a mile away from the hotel.

Brief. Parking was little to none. Was close to Duval Street. Room was clean but basic. We had a deck with a hammock which was nice. If I were staying longer I would look for something different.

Island City House

Excellent. The room, pool, location and court yard were beautiful and great. This was our 5th trip to Key West. We have done the Hyatt, Pier House, Ambassitor House.....this was by far the best. Do not know of a better place. Allen

Romantic/Charming Hotel

Unbelievable experience! Old world charm, new world amenities. My girlfriend an I had just completed the Miami to Key West Ragnar Ultra Relay event on Jan. 7, 2012. Checked into our hotel (arrived late, but the staff had taken care of getting our room ready for us), and absolutely fell in love with the place! Stayed in the Cigar House, 3rd floor. The hammock is a nice touch! Will we stay there again? Abso-freakin-lutely! For a week next time!

Duval Street is only a few short blocks away. Island City House is close enough to be convenient, yet far enough away that you don't have to deal with lots of drunk people and noise.

Island City House Hotel

Wonderful Old Key West atmosphere, not unlike Hemingway'shouse, includng the cats. Warm, friendly staff, accommodating, even providing shelter for our two motorcycles. I will stay there again.

Great Stay at Island City House Hotel

Our stay at Island City House Hotel was for four nights in Room 18 in the three story Island City House building in June 2011. (Other rooms are in the Arch House and Cigar House.) The room was a queen bed suite with separate full kitchen/TV/living room area, hallway and bathroom, and bedroom which had a second flat screen TV there. The suites are large for the Old Town area of Key West. It was great to have a full kitchen/microwave/range/refrigerator/sink, and the room was kept very clean. Personnel were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast is coffee/OJ/tea and a choice of bagels/breads/danish in the center tropical courtyard. The pool was well-maintained and never crowded. A great stay! (Note to those considering their two-bedroom suites-these only have one bathroom so we advise getting two rooms if four unrelated people (two couples) are sharing.)

Wonderful Couple Getaway

As soon as we checked in, the staff recommended places to see and things to do. They assisted in getting a fantastic price on a snorkeling and sunset cruise as soon as we got there to save money. The location was in walking distance of everything! It was also a fantastic bonus to have a small kitchenette so we could make lunch/breakfast in the morning to save on money as well. This is the first couple's vacation we have taken, and it was a fantastic experience! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room faced the street and had a huge porch with a swing. This might be a problem for someone who can't handle road noise, but we were fine with it - there wasn't much traffic while we were trying to sleep. They do have rooms away from the street. Once you entered the property it was like an oasis with tons of trees covering the paths between the units - beautiful. We will be staying here when visting Key West from now on. We also liked that you could rent bikes on site rather than have to rent somewhere else around the island. The walk really wasn't far to Duval if you'd rather walk. We were lucky to get a parking spot on the street and DIDN'T MOVE our truck the entire time we were there! We can't wait for our next stay! Also we were surprised to have a stove and pots and pans in our room - next trip we're cooking in.
