Ibis Bay Resort

My room was very small and smelled like smoke. The people were very nice and the hotel was in a central location.

Room was very small and had a smoker in before I was put in there and had a very strong stench!

small, old, no beach as advertised, under cosmetic renew. No lights in bathroom.

They upgraded us to a waterfront, room was clean and great view, pool was clean and taken care of, large comfortable hammics everywhere, restaurant food was great, staff was nice and helpful, lobby fun coordinator helped plan fun activities, also onsite wave runner and boat rental really nice touch. Been to key west several times and this place has it all and is close to everything, stay here and rent some scooters for your stay and you'll have a great time. Defiantly will return to Ibis bay resort.

Folks at front desk were different sometimes i felt like i was interupting their conversation to ask them something. The hydrosport people outside of the hotel in the hut were awesome and very helpful and had a few drinks outside by the pool and to be a so called beach side resort nothing real impressive. The actual rooms very were nice and comfortable just not very big

Easy to find from Airport, small parking area so make sure to have a medium to small car. Stayed in one bedroom - Clean - Small - had only 4 hangers in the small closet. Just enough room around bed to walk around. Small table and chairs to sit at. Air condition didn't keep up with heat so very warm sleeping and if you needed a break from the heat it didn't make it too nice. Had gaps around door to outside and air conditioner so not used to that when in the mid-west make sure things sealed because of weather and insects. Didn't have any issue with bugs or other critters so that was nice. No storage or shelves for anything (wouldn't be that expensive or hard to have white wicker shelf's and baskets to hold items in) bathroom very small one person in there at a time. Bar / Stone Crab / Office / good food, nice relaxing place to eat and drink, remodeling was going on so wasn't able to enjoy it to the max but nice. The help was fantastic, nice, good attitudes. No coffee maker in rooms but free coffee at the bar in morning so not too bad. Would be nice to have toaster and coffee pot in room. Nice pool, nice sitting down relaxing "beach" area no swimming area at beach just relaxing views of near by island. Close to many things, Walgreens two blocks, food, grocery stores, gas station very nice location. (lots and lots of wild chickens) everwhere Jet Ski tour was awesome even though it was "Sporty" which if they say that watch out it means large waves and hard hitting and water flying over your head so you can't see in front of your face but oh so fun. Didn't have hardly any jet ski experience but thought after a bit easy to drive. Didn't see much of wildlife but still great time. First time down there, would go again and would possible stay again since the price was very good even though room was "quaint" as my wife put it. If the air conditioner would have been working 100% the stay would have been even awesome but since it didn't it really made the nights and any breaks to get out of the heat hard.

The place is right next to all the places you need. The pool was perfect. The little children and people at the hotel were the best. The little beach needs some sand.But birds and seagulls and animals of all type. The worst thing was when the tide went out . The cuba feel and the easy way to book a trip was great. The bar right next to the bar is easy walk from your room.Love the maid and how she took care of us. The hotel is wonderfull and really caring they remember us from March. Were gay 21 years together and love this place

We stayed at ibis bay this past weekend. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic and clean... Had what we needed. We rented bikes and it got us into town in 15-20 minutes and it was a great ride. Cab ran about $13 to get to Duvall. You're on the bay so the only swimming option is the pool. Overall good stay and if you're ok being farther away from downtown it's a good choice.

Good experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms clean and bright
