Doubletree' Grand Key Resort

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is really friendly and the rooms are really clean. Outside by the pool area is really nice. I have absolutely no complaints and will book my next stay in key west here.

ALL staff were excellent. Breakfast was hot and plentiful.

Stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful! The free shuttle service to Duval St. was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Key West.

Before you're even given a room key, you are handed a warm, delicious and moist chocolate cookie. It hard to complain after that. That and the fact that the room was clean, the bed was comfy and soft, the staff so polite, and the beautiful weather made this one of the best Key West experience I've ever had. The only gripe I had was the extra $10 fee for parking. But I did use the free shuttle bus to get to Old Town and back quite often, so I can't be too upset about it. TL;DR: Great Hotel - Will be staying there again

We liked the location of this hotel. It was set apart from the craziness of Duval Street but they provide a shuttle every hour all day. This was a great option. You can see the major sites or go to the beach and still easily get back to your room. We drove to Key West but never needed to use our car. The only downside was that even though the pool and hot tub area was very nice, we almost never got to enjoy it because of the number of out-of-control children running around. I have no problem with kids having some fun and you have to expect that when staying at a resort but this was beyond the norm. On a normal afternoon you would see many parents soaking in the hot tub while their pack of wild children was running, yelling and doing cannon balls into the pool. There was a sign in the pool area stating that all children needed to be supervised. I wish that this was stated a little more clearly: as in you actually need to be within 100 feet of and actively supervise your children. This is not Disney and it would not hurt to show a little more respect to the other 20 or 30 paying customers who were trying to enjoy the area. Since the pool was large and u-shaped it might help to have separate kids and adults areas like many other resorts do.

I spent one night here for $140 and the next one in Marathon for $90, because I thought $140/night was too expensive, but the reality is that it definitely worth of it! (I'm not criticizing the other hotel, but double tree just was too nice and significantly raised the standard, haha) Staffs here are super friendly and considerate, it's very impressive to me that right after we got into the room, they called us to make sure if everything is ok and asked what else they could do to serve us better! Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the shampoo/conditioner/lotion are from Crabtree&Everlyn, haha. Although its location is not very close to the duval street, there is a free hourly shuttle to hemingway's house and mallory square, very convenient. You don't have to worry about all the parking problems. Overall, I would strongly recommend double tree to anyone who want to stay in key west for an acceptable price and very nice stay! BTW, really love those complementary homemade cookies, so yummy~~

Clean, friendly, helpful staff, though not on Duvall, has a shuttle that takes you there every hour, so you get everything you need, in a quieter, nicer area.

Very happy with the hotel, a little bit off the downtown, but there is shuttle service every hour, so you don't need a car. Cheap parking - only $10 a day. Very comfortable, pool is very clean. Rooms are clean and renovated, we had excellent experience.

The customer service was very good at the front desk but the breakfast was poorly attended. We liked the comfy beds but the HK staff was noisy in the morning and the AC was noisy at night. Our room was right over the kitchen so the smell was good in the morning. We had absolutely no view. We asked for a triple but only got 2 queen beds.
