Quality Accomodations, at a reasonable price.

Upon arrival, we were quickly assigned a room within 30 ft of a hot tub and fountain fed pool. Our room smelled great, was well appointed, clean, and everything worked. The desk and serving staff knew where the other attractions were, and arranged trips for us. The hotel location was close to Duval, several restaurants, a coin operated laundry and 24 hr drug store.

Wonderful stay

Inn was close to Duval Street and easy access to rental for bikes. The room was wonderful, clean, comfortable beds, quiet. They had a nice patio area, and the happy hour and breakfast was so nice as an extra. I would recommmend and stay there again.

Truly an oasis

Loved every moment at the Almond Tree Inn and will definitely stay there if I ever go back to Key West. It is well located at the "quiet end" of Duval St. but close enough to enjoy all the goings-on. It is extremely clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the walls are a little thin and you can hear muffled conversations from neighboring rooms. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temp. The breakfast and free happy hour were more than adequate, and the owners are a lovely couple who make sure your every need is taken care of. The counter staff is also very helpful an knowledgeable about the island. Beware iguanas sunning themselves in the trees above the lounge chairs. Let's just say my daughter had to go take a shower! She had a great story to tell her friends when she got back to school.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

We did not rent a car, and did not need one. All the activities we were interested in were within walking distance or an easy bike ride away. There is a place to rent bikes across from the Almond Tree.

Great winter getaway

Just got back. No issues that we had with the hotel or staff. Would go back. Liked the location better than the hotels on Duval St.

We did the City View trolley tour the first day to get a feel for where we wanted to return for sightseeing. We did the cheaper one for $19 per person.

Almond Tree, Key West, Labor Day Weekend

This was the 2nd time we stayed at The Almond Tree. The staff is great, and Alex remembered us from our last visit. The room is clean and bright. The towels are plush and the robes are an extra nice touch. The pool and hot tub are clean and the daily happy hour is cool! It is located right off Duval on Truman and is a perfect central location for all Key West has to offer. We will for sure go back!

Will Definitely Book Here Again!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at The Almond Tree Inn. It was a block from Duval Street, but I should point out it's almost a mile away from all the major bars on Duval. That didn't bother us, but may be far for some people. It was also across the street from a bike/scooter rental company which we found to be super convenient. Despite being so close to Duval and right next to a CVS, once you enter the premises, the rooms and pool area are all tucked away in a lush area complete with a waterfall and surrounded by trees. The hotel offers a complimentary happy hour from 5-7 which we enjoyed as a way to relax before heading out into the crazy Key West nightlife. They also allow their pool and hot tub to be open 24 hours. We had a room with 1 king bed. The vaulted ceilings made the room seem so much more spacious than most hotel rooms I've stayed in. The room was very clean and modern with tile and tropical decor. There was also a little gated porch in front of our room with a couple of chairs which was a nice touch. Finally, the staff were all very friendly! I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

If you rent a bike or scooter from across the street it's a short ride to the Southern Most Point as well as Smathers Beach.

Great Place to Stay!!

My boyfriend and I traveled to Key West while visiting family in Florida. We stayed at the Almond Tree Inn for just one night and both wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. It is also walking distance to everything on Duval St which was perfect! The complimentary Happy Hour and Breakfast are great little touches that enhanced our experience there. Overall the Almond Tree Inn was a great place to stay and we definitely plan on going back!!

Wonderful stay

Surprised at how quiet it was right near corner of Truman and Duval. Everything - staff, room, location, "happy hour", service was outstanding. Pricey place but we got our money's worth. Couldn't have had a better last day of vacation.
