Super 8 Jacksonville Downtown Area

Parking Area needs to have the traffic mirror installed in order to better serve inbound and outbound traffic. T.V.'s must be placed on the swivel platter in order to serve both bed viewers.

It is located right off of the highway and at times the traffic was a bit noisy

Was down for the gator bowl and the trip was Great the guy at the front dest was SO helpfule would print off directions give you numbers to shuttles, he was just great, and the rooms were well kept, it was a great affordable place

My son has been staying here for the last 2 day asked if I would chnge his room this time because it was a little noisy. But over all it is clean and the people are very nice.

I made reservation for my 23 year old Son due to his sister was in Mayo Clinic and i felt that this was a real safe Motel for him to stay in and the front desk attendance made sure he was all settled in.

They upgraded my room but ran the charge again through bank. I have already paid through Orbitz and when I called they said I had not.

I stayed in this Hotel December of 2007, and it was really bad at the time, I wrote Super8 and told them about the problems I encountered. Within 24 hours the owner sent me an email, told me to please bring my business back and I would see improvement. I decided to give the hotel another chance, I am glad I did, the rooms were clean (Not the case last time) the staff was friendly (Again not the case last time) I could tell the changes I suggested were made. Keep in mind this is a Super8 so you should expect greatness, however this Hotel is near anything a tourest could need in Jacksonville.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel appears clean from the outside, but once you're inside it's a different story. The room had peeling paint, there was mold in the caulking around the bath tub,the baseboards were missing in places, and the shower head was so low that I had to crouch to take a shower. The neighbourhood was tough and I did not feel comfortable. There is no place to eat within walking distance, and I'm not sure I would walk in that area anyway. When I checked in the staff at the front desk said make sure you lock your car. I looked back in alarm and he said well you should lock your car anywhere. The police came by in the night and would sound their siren to clear the loiterers from the front of the motel.

The area of the hotel isnt that great. The location is good because it is close to main highways and main roads. The The bathroom was sepearte from the sink and lot of counter space. Free wireless internet access.

Accomodations OK. Location terrible. No food available in motel or nearby (except for breakfast).
