Omni Jacksonville Hotel

The hotel was located perfectly to our needs. The room was very clean and the music playing in our room as we first opened the door was very nice. The theather was within walking distance even though you could ride the free shuttle from the valet. The staff was very polite, professional and helpful. We got out of the theater kinda late on a Thursday night, to find nothing open late in the area except for H..ters Wing House. We could order room service but that can be expensive! The only bad thing was that the bathroom ceiling looked like it had been recently painted, with some brush marks on the wallpaper. And we found it strange that there were no fans in the bathroom either. The shower rod was in need of repair as well. We were in room 1131. We think that 1133 might have the best view!

THE ROOM WAS SMALLER COMPARED TO THE OMNI IN ATLANTA. DIDN'T ENJOY THE VIEW FROM ROOM. OUR ROOM OVERLOOKED A PARKING LOT. STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. WALKING DISTANCE TO JACKSONVILLE LANDING. APPROX. 30 MINUTE DRIVE TO JACKSONVILLE AND ST. AUGUSTINE BEACHES.

The hotel staff was very professional and very friendly. Food was excellent; a little expensive but yet a great deal for the quality. I experienced an issue with noise from a nearby room one night and when I called the front desk, the staff and hotel security took my complaint very seriously and resolved the "noise issue" immediately. The entire stay was wonderful and went smoothly until my last night there. That proved to be the most interesting stay at any hotel I have ever experienced and I have stayed at many hotels in my life time. The hotel should truly commend themselves on their ability to remain calm and professional during what could have turned out to be a very tragic situation. At around 3:30 am hotel guests were awakened by an alarm that was very startling and frightening to say the least. Needless to say hotel security and management saw to it that all of their guests were taken care of and made to feel safe and secure. The incident lasted about 45 minutes to an hour and even though I wasnt able to go back to sleep because I had to get up at 5:30 to catch a flight home, I felt like the whole night was not a disaster. I will NEVER forget my stay at the Omni Hotel. That next morning the hotel manager and staff were very apologetic for what had happened and they wanted us to know that they had our best interest at heart all the while making us feel like they cared. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay at an affordable luxuious hotel where the management and staff truly do care about their guests!!

Very nice Hotel. The weekend was very quiet. Not much going on downtown that weekend. We were there to go to the Amelia Island Concours.

The decorator chose color schemes in room that are warm, homey and cozy. The location was perfect for our week-end plans. We went to the symphony across the street on Friday night and then walked just a mile to the start of the Gate River run which we participated in, in the morning. The service was better than average. The risotto, we ordered for dinner, was too salty and heavy and without requesting that we be compensated, it was removed from our check. We would definitely stay again.

It was a great hotel and the people were friendly and the room was in great condition.

Hotel is excellent, hotel restaurant is poor, parking is expensive.

Staff was friendly, and helpful. Buffet was very tasty. It was a person availble to prepare hot to order omelets. (Very Good). I was glad I did not bring any kids it is not kid friendly. My sister was not able to sit in the sun for a long time on there beautiful pool deck, we asked for umbrella's and was told they were all broken. Not good customer service. Did they not know it was broken before requested.

The hotel was great. I arrived in the early evening and the entire staff was very helpful. The room was very nice and had a great view of the river. I liked that jacksonville landing was so close. That was where we spent most of our time. If I were to plan another trip to the jacksonville area, I'd stay here again.

This was my third stay at the Omni Jacksonville...The room was immaculate as was the pool area ---water was crystal clean. Staff is always super courteous--everyone goes out of their way to see that your stay is enjoyable. Went to the Riverside Arts Fair on Saturday, Jacksonville Zoo, and visited shops in the Five Points district. Wouldn't condsider staying anywhere else in Jacksonville!!!
