La Quinta Inn & Suites Jacksonville Mandarin

Very clean room, well appointed. Cleaning crew was let off for the holiday, so no housekeeping, but I can understand and appreciate. Coffee wasn't great, but otherwise, a great hotel value.

i recently stayed at a four star hotel and it could not even compare the the outstanding value you get for staying in this two star hotel - WAY BETTER! the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the staff was warm and friendly. i arrived earlier than the designated check in time, there was no hassle, no issues, no complaining, in fact the hotel representative had my room key ready and set for me - he ensured that i had the right room and was able to correct it when there was an issue. I was impressed with this hotel - basic, simple and good value.

The hotel was a little drab when we first got there, but when we got our room we were pleasantly surprised. We had a clean and comfortable room with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was larger than we had anticipated,and very clean. We really enjoyed our three night stay. The hotel itself is well situated with shops and restaurants close by (some within walking distance). We also enjoyed the pool, which seemed very family friendly. We loved to sit there in the late afternoons and relax. I most certainly would go back, at the price we paid I think that it was excellent. The baby ducks that came to greet us on our first day were a sweet (if unintended) bonus!

We were there for a limited amount of time since we were visiting our daughter, but the staff was very nice and accommodating.

The stay was convenient and comfortable. I did come back to my door open one night...cleaning left it open. And the door didn't work very well; you had to force it open and closed. There was a dog staying in the room next to me that barked. It would have been preferable to me to reuse my towels but house cleaning took all of my used ones even when I hung them up to dry. Also, they gave me new soap and shampoo every day even though I barely used either one. By the end I had collected 6 things of shampoo; all sitting in my bathroom clearly unopened. Seemed excessively pointless and wasteful.

The location was great and the price was very affordable.

This hotel was a great value. Great location, We felt safe. Lots of restaurants close by. The staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. We will come back to this location when in Jacksonville.

Room was nice for the price. We stopped here for a night on the way to DisneyWorld. The beds were compfy but a little small. The room was clean and remodeled recently. The interior hallway to the room looked clean but it smelled bad. Continental breakfast wasn't much but for the price we paid I would stay again.
