Perfect location
IT was nice, but the room smelled like a public bathroom, and there was no iron and iron board and no toothpaste. Location of the hotel was close to a major shopping area.

Another Excellent Experience
Had a wonderful stay at the Jacksonville Plaza Hotel once more. Every time I go to Jacksonville I will surely stay at the same Hotel. Easy access to the Airport and several locations to eat and shop at within walking distance. A Shopping Mall just a couple blocks down the street provides anything you could possibly want on a weekend or longer stay. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive to your needs.

Better than budget
CheckIn and encounters with staff pleasant and efficient. Continental breakfast sufficient to insert calories and stimulate neurons, but only just. All day coffee though. Walking distance from real Restaurants. Convenient to airport.

Definite Good value for price
When I got to the room I realized that I made a mistake in booking the type of bed (needed 2 double beds - booked one queen size bed) but the front desk clerk quickly changed my room without any problems or change in rate. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent with restaurants and shopping center very close by. Traveling into Jacksonville on business frequently and I plan to stay there with out a doubt.

East of 95 is a complete shopping center with all types of shops and restaurants to chose from. For breakfast there is Denny's, Waffle house, Dunkin donuts and more within walking distance.

ok. room a little bit tight with queen size bed. the hotel is a little hard to find because of all the trees. overall, it was a pleasant stay.

What a mess!
Checked in okay. Went to room, It stunk of ciggarette smoke and had ciggarette holes in the sheets. The walls were dirty looking the carpet was filthy. I'm sorry this should not have been on a 3 star list it's not even a 1 star. Then they moved us to another room that wasn't as bad but the pillows had no pillow cases...so I had to cover it with some clothing and forgot it when I checked out. The mere fact you can't use their phones in your room to make a local calls is ridiculus. Had a rough night didn't feel comfortable.
