Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites JACKSONVILLE - MAYPORT / BEACH

The hotel was quiet, the room was clean, a good deal for the price.

The accomodations were comfortable and sufficient for my 1 night stay. Noise from the hallway and coughing heard through the floor from the room above all night long.

This Holiday Inn Express is very nice and I would have given the hotel better markings except for one incident. Bads: - There are no safes in the rooms. I left about $1-$2 in change on the desk in the room with some of my other belongings (book, magazine, etc). I came back at the end of the day and the money was gone. Apparently the maids are paid so little they have to resort to theft. I've been to many hotels around the world and this was never a problem. Goods: - This hotel is clean! From when I first entered the lobby (even smells clean) to entering my room (again smells fresh and clean). - Free Wi-Fi in the room was nice. - Free breakfast. Although it was not super great it was more than just the standard continental fare of danishes and toast. Sausage and eggs was a nice start to the day. - Close to NS Mayport if that is your destination.

A clean and quiet hotel in the mist of all family activities. I really enjoyed the stay

Very clean, room was roomy, nice tv, loved shower....very nice overall....Only complaint was some of the staff spoke no english. But A+ other than that.

We've stayed at some much higher priced hotels that weren't that much better. Special plaudits for the excellent breakfast we had: eggs, bacon, pastries, and how about that pancake machine. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was my 39th birthday and I needed to getaway, I found this hotel to be very quiet and peaceful, this was a day well spent to have some relaxation. Thanks.

Convienent Location, minutes away from Mayport Naval station, Downtown Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach. There are many excellent food resturaunts in the area. Excellent Customer Service and very friendly. My check in time was 3 pm they got me in to my room at 11am. The Room was very clean, no smell what so ever as in some places. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well set up. The only thing I didn't like as others didn't was the walls aren't insulated soo you can hear people clearly in the hallways and in rooms next to yours.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. The location to the beach was ideal for our trip. My only complaint was the noise level. The walls were very thin and telephone conversations, noises of a sexual nature and arguing in the rooms on both sides of ours could be heard along with people conversating in the halls. We could also hear a dog barking down the hall.
