Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Airport

We stayed at this hotel because it is right by the JAX airport. The property itself was in good repair and the room was clean and comfortable. A nice bonus was the nearby shopping and numerous restaurants- a two minute drive on the other side of I- 95.

We wanted a place close to the airport that also was an easy shuttle ride to the Carnival cruise line port and this was it!! The staff was nice and the limited time we spent there was enjoyable. Hotel, food, and pool areas were all top notch.

Check in was flawless; room was just about perfect. Old-fashioned tube ("CRT") television was a little bit of disappointment, though, but not a big one. I think the gym was nice, and the business center was EMPTY! and everything, including the laser printer worked, too! (yes, there was paper in the printer..how often these business centers have slow connections, slowwww computers and printers that are out of paper or just don't work!)

I came in on short notice. They had the room type I was looking for and I had no problems for two nights. The only con is that I was on the fifth floor and the hallway was extremely warm.

Great price, friendly staff, rooms very comfortable and better than most near airport hotels. After a few eeks of travel, this hotel was acomfortable respite during my three days.

Due to allergies polyester or foam pillows were requested with prepaid reservation. Despite prior request, I had to request them after I got to the room, and tipped the guy. Paris Hilton should have tipped me. Also, your reservation process stipulated that this was to be an evolution room, which it was not. This was the difference between booking with [...] and booking an ordinary room through the Hilton web site! Please advise me why this was not done, despite my request at the front desk. Seemed like bait and switch. Finally, the breakfast was $9.95/person, which, except for the made to order omlet was the same as the free breakfasts that we had the previous three days when we stayed at at Marriott and Country Inns by Carlson. Despite coming down 45 minutes before breakfast was over, some of the breakfast items were out and they were not replenished.

This hotel has a great location and is easy to find. It is right off I-95 and only two minutes to JAX. There are many other hotels in the area, and I have stayed at many of them. But this one is the best value for the money. The rooms are a good size and well appointed.

Everything was good. We stayed there and got the shuttle to the cruise port. The only thing we didn't like was no one told us we had to pay to leave our car there until the last minute.
