Excellent stop off!

An excellent stop off point to visit & explore the upper keys. Rooms were large, well furnished and scrupulously clean. An attractive pool area and deck on the shore. Close by there was availability for all water sports. The room price included an excellent breakfast, including a variety of hot dishes - relatively unusual in many American hotels. Close by a super fish restaurant - well worth a visit.

fantastic family getawat

My family and i stayed only one night and had an amazing time. there are many good qualities that this hotel provides. The room was very spacious and the linen was extra clean. The pool area is very nice. With a pool a good size, the jacuzzi is very relaxing and the tiki bar adds a very nice touch. All in all it was an amazing experience and we plan to visit again.

relaxing vacation

Staff at front desk were nice and very helpful. We left on the third to go somewhere else where we had a reservation for two nights. We decided to come back to the hotel for our last night. The pool area was very nice and quiet.

The Best of the Keys!!

We weren't originally sure where to stay for our spring break vacation but this hotel was the only one available that accomodated 6 people and offered 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen plus a private beach, pool, and free breakfast. Our decision to stay turned out to be the best ever! Even though everyone makes the biggest fuss about Key West, Key Largo, and Marathon, Islamorada was wonderful. It was more private and offered many things to do like Theater of the Sea and the Diving Museum as well as cute shops and great restaurants like Ma's Fish House (try the coconut cake, trust me). The staff at Hampton was AMAZING! They let us use their oven for pizza cookies and fries whem we made the silly mistake of assuming a stovetop = oven in the room. They offered fresh towels at the desk constantly for swimming and the cute tiki bar next to the pool had live music one night. The beach wasn't that impressive but that's pretty common in the Keys and the hammocks made up for it. It wasn't exactly a short trip to Key West the day we went but it was definitely worth staying in such a comfy, fun hotel. The lobby floor has gorgeous fish and diving decorations. Finally, if you aren't too strapped for cash, consider paying the extra for the oceanview. All we could see was an ugly building top from 401. Still, the best Keys experience we could've hoped for! Thanks Hampton Inn & Suites!

Theater of the Sea may look like a tourist trap, but it's an amazing gem. It's a much more personalized, up-close, family-owned Sea World experience. The dolphin show was so impressive and the little lagoon is great for a quick swim. Just grab a coupon book by the breakfast area in the hotel and you've got $3 off.

Problem Solved

When we first walked into our room it was evident that a smoker had no respect for the No Smoking in the room policy. Since my wife has lung problems we went to the clerk and asked to try a different room. The Hampton Inn Manager overheard us and told the clerk to give us a FREE upgrade and told her what room number to put us in. It was FANTASTIC, clean and the best view possible. Kudos to the Hampton Inn.

The Loralie, an outdoor, beach restaurant with great food and atmosphere. You'd think you were in the Virgin Islands.

Good Place to Relax

The hotel was very nice. The staff was super helpful and kind. They gave us alot of information about the area. It rained all weekend so we didn't use the pool although it looked very good. The breakfast was very good for a free one. We got to make our own waffles in the waffle iron, and had a good time. I would stay again.

It was good

We stayed in this Hampton Inn on our trip to Key West. The hotel's front desk always had great customer service. They were always friendly and catered to our needs. The pool was great, and the beach area right next to the pool had awesome views of the ocean. It's not really a necessity, but they could update their bathrooms, as it is starting to show its age, but it wasn't gross or anything. The rooms were fine. The breakfast area was a bit small and couldn't accomodate a lot of people, but the food selection was good. Overall, I would stay in this hotel again if I was to ever go back to Key West.
