Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port

Some of the staff wasn't "incredibly friendly" but other than that the hotel is fine. The location is awesome, and it has lost of bars, restaurants and shops around.

I had been to the Ramada Hollywood twice before, the second time was disapointing. staff unhelpful, included breakfast served in a hallway. But the location is so good, had to give it another try. what a pleasant surprise. staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast overlooking the beach, room clean and recently freshened. I won't wait so long to return!

My daughter and I really enjoyed being in this area and the hotel was in the perfect location for us. We spent five nights and six days there without renting a car and were still able to visit a variety of restaurants and shops. We felt very safe there even though we were women traveling alone. Most of the staff were very helpful. Concierge gave bad advice regarding travel arrangements to the airport for our flight home (the shuttle didn't show up as promised, causing us to take a taxi at the last minute and almost miss our plane!) It took a day or two for us to realize we could "reserve" our pool chairs for the duration of our stay for a fee, but it was well worth it.

During the time waqs there we visit some areas of Hollywood. The place is nice and the wokig area for the persons tobe is bautiful and have a lot of fun, like the theater and the shows.

Great location on the beach with the boardwalk out the back door. Old style resort that Al Capone stayed at and it reminded you of old Florida. Each room is different with a small kitchen. Wonderful small restaurants within walking distance with music everywhere. For the price on the beach it was wonderful. Lots of people walking around at all hours and exercising on the boardwalk. Good experience for a couple of days.

This is an old hotel with lots of charm. We didn't venture up beyond the 2nd floor, so not sure how the rest of the building compared, but our floor was very nice. There have been renovations that appear "cheap" like our towel rack wasn't well secured to the plastic-ish wall panneling, and the shutters in the room were plastic and not well made. But the floors were ceramic tile, the kitchen was sufficient with pretty black countertops and backsplash and the furniture was nice. Loved the pool but the chairs are kind of crowded. Being there in January, we didn't really have to worry about finding a chair, but I'm sure you would in the summer. The breakfast that was included with our booking was great - but you also had the opportunity to order hot items for a small fee. It was reasonably priced (except the parking was $15 a day but that seems to be standard these days...) and I love the thought of how many people have gone through that place over the past 80+ years. It has good bones, and I would definitely go back.

Wife and I stayed there befoe our cruise. We walked the beach(very beautiful) an we both ha. A wonderful time!

Positive experience. Breakfast which was included was wonderful. Hotel fairly clean - no complaints there. I did notice that they charge for everything though. $10/night for gym and wi fi, etc. They charge to go to pool if you want a chair, an unbrella, etc. They charge for many things which used to be free and that was unfortunate. Even with breakfast, they only gave two out of the four of us a continental breakfast, the other two family members had to pay. Other than that though, it was a great vacation.

We have been staying at this hotel for about 15 years. When our children were small it was perfect for our family. Now my husband and I stay by ourselves or with other family members. Ramada's name has been removed and it shows in the amenities. The breakfast is not worth its price and the hotel soap was substandard. Also, one maid stole 4 magazines out of our bathroom and then told me through her interpreter that she has been working here for 12 years and would not take anything out of a guests occupied room. She took our magazines anyhow and then lied about it. We gave her a tip before she cleaned our room. That was a mistake that will not happen again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice during check in and Security was always there. We were able to get a crib with no problem. The hotel was right on the board with a nice bar/resturante right in front of the hotel. The view was pretty. Wish it had a balcony but the view was really nice. The boardwalk was so clean and so much to see. The breakfast was ok but can't argue with free. There is a coffee shop, stores, and bike rental inside the hotel. There is a Walmart about 3 minutes away and then just about anything else you can think about on that street as well. We are going back to Holloywood beach with all the kids in the future.
